Day 1B of partypoker WPT UK attracted 239 entries and 130 of them made it through to Day 2. England's Fred Wise finished on top of the chip counts with 215,100 and will be bringing the overall chip lead into Day 2.

There were plenty of entries for Day 1B and this looks like it could turn into quite a large prize pool. Great to see Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot still playing well and it would be great to see him on another final table

This looks to be a tournament with a field full of some exceptional current players and also a nice mixture of some of the old guard such as Devilfish and Mike Sexton.I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be many of the German crew and so far some of the UK players like Trickett,Tom Middleton,Chris Brammer have been eliminated. I am not familiar with Fred Wise but I know he is a local at dusk til dawn and has had a few decent cashes and one good 5 figure cash so it would be good to see him do well.
Day 2 kicks off at 1pm today, and all players who hasn't re-entered four times already can take another shot. In other words, we will know what the total prize pool will be at the end of Day 2 and state it in tomorrow's update.
