Some mobbers really need to grow up. Abusing privileges is ur own petty little problem but dont scare off new members just because your immature. This guy has been a forum member for less then a month and someone every post. Minus the one i gave him a thumbs up for. Im sure bankrollmob as a business needs to keep growing and treating new members poorly is one way of fucking them outts growth. Not ine of his post were a stupid question. Grow up 600000+ members but under 100 active, my guess would be they dont wanna post because theres alot of childish ppl here that will degrade them.

Totally agree! There are some sickos out there! BRM might better start checking the background of each new applicant if he/she has criminal history in the past.

I wondered what you were going on about until I read about the thumbs down.
I am on a lot of forums and nearly all allow for a +1 -1 in some way, but all require to leave a message and it tells you the nick of the person who left it there.
I have several thumbs down and I believe I am a decent poster here. I would quite like to know who thumbs down me but more importantly, why they did.

I dont really care how many i have ive been around long enough to know that kids will be kids. New members dont exactly know that. if u were to walk into a store and get criticism for asking a question from different ppl over and over agin your gonna think twice about going to the store and asking the question. If a new user feels belittled for asking a simple question there gonna think twice about posting here.
Thumbs downs are totally random though, it's really about who is giving them in what thread and what kind of milieu is in there, but if I remember correctly once I got one when I asked a question about something. It's ridiculous.
IceQueen I believe half of your thumbs downs are just 'cuz your a woman. Not that it's anything wrong with it (for me at least) but I can imagine some folks have hard times getting the truth into their face (or just a frank opinion) from a woman, I guess. Plenty of these people roaming around here I believe.

Its true and sad yo say that we have a few peoples here that are still child wathever their age.
But its only a few of them and they cant destroy the the community here because we find more peoples than these few ones that are here to help in giving very good advice and other kind of help.

Yes. But this time we let them get the benefit of the doubt, but if things doesn't improve we will just disable all previous ratings and block future ratings, so the sickos can no longer rate posts. Problem solved. Hopefully the problem will solve itself during Christmas...

That is my point entirely! Real life IS what you say and do on the Internet.

That is my point. These things go on in the world outside of the Internet and yet you tolerate those things.......... Yes you do.....you just sit on your ass and do nothing about the sham and drudgery in the world, yet feel inclined to speak up from the safety and comfort of your armchair, bed or wherever else you type stuff into forums.
Don't just have a go at the people who abuse people on the net...get off your cumulative asses and take control of the abuse that goes on in 'your real world'. Mobilise your communities to stand up to burglars, thieves, rapists, nuisance creators etc. not harm them, but don't tolerate them. Report them to the authorities. Tell them it's not acceptable to behave in the way they have........
Don't limit your actions to writing about it on the Internet!
Don't just sit and wait for the authorities to do something about it........ Stand up and don't allow it to happen in the first place!
(This is not aimed at anyone person in particular, but aimed at society in general!)

I must agree that there does seem to be a few mobsters who love to give the old thumbs down for no apparent reason. I have received more then a few thumbs down on messages which I have posted. On more then one occasion it happened because a fellow member did not like the post I gave to him in response to something and so they just started giving all my post the old thumbs down for awhile. Sometimes people are childish. I advise you just try to ignore the thumbs ups and thumbs downs. It has made me happier to just not care about them anymore wishing you all the best be cool

I think the thumbs up and thumbs down is something you should use approprietly. if you like what the person says then thumbs up I honestly don't see a reason that I would use a thumbs down ( but that's just me) unfortunatly there are people out there that do it just to be an ass. take care fellow Mobsters
