Many congratulations to Jacquelyn Scott on winning this event and the first place prize money of $153,876. Great to see a very healthy entry list of nearly 800 players for this tournament

Well done to Jacquuelyn Scott and pretty good prize money for her.It was a great turn out but I don't understand why this has 795 players and other events are struggling to get women to enter.
Since this event had a discount for women it's not that hard to figure it out that the low turnout anywhere else is a direct result that many ladies have limited budget when it comes to WSOP buy-ins. They probably reserve 10k for the ME right out of the bat, and they pick and choose the rest of the tourneys they want to participate in - female pros probably make more money playing at the cashtables during this month than just playing on every tourney available IMO.
