You will face in the No-Limit Texas Hold'em situations where a smaller bet will have more success than a large one. There will be situations where you bet half pot will provide the same data as one complete bet In poker, any betting situation can be analyzed with a formula. If there is a pot of $ 600 and retainers you what, you're 1-on-1 and ultimately have to win 50% of the time for you to produce a higher yield. Now, if you find you have the same result with 400 US dollars, statistics show that it is better to choose the latter option, and you'd be risking less to win the same. You get pot odds of 3-to-2 and 1-to-1 as seen earlier The pertinent question is: do you need to risk the same thing to find out? The result would have been different if you were betting less? It is more likely than not. A pot-sized bet will get the same as a half. However, the smaller is a better choice for many reasons

In the minds of many players no limit hold'em is the idea that anyone who has raised before the flop, then be the one to take the initiative postflop. This bet, which is known as a continuation bet (c-bet), can bring all kinds of laments the initial bettor if a flop comes low and messy, and suspect that your opponent missed the flop

Once the decision to gamble is very important to correctly choose the size of the bet. We must never forget that the size of a bet must be made in relation to the size of the pot and in relation to our stack. We must be constantly aware of how big the pot and gain our expectation to know if we want to continue in one hand and what line to follow A small bet: A bet of between 30 to 50% of the pot size. A medium sized bet: Varies between half and 3/4 of the pot. A big bet: is greater than 3/4 of the pot.

Hello my friends and fellow mobsters
Well that is a very good question and every formula that all the poker foruns say to apply is right but if you see some great players in action they don´t obey the rules everytime
I think you need to follow the main"rules" but more important is "reading" the table and the opponents

While No-Limit or “All In” poker on the surface seems like a game designed for the most wealthy players or punters in the world, the actual rules for all-in poker situations do the exact opposite. They give each player the chance to only bet what’s in front of them at the poker table. Called “table stakes,” it means that in a poker hand you can only bet whatever money or chips you had on the table when the hand started. You can’t reach for your wallet and bet more money, or put your car keys in the middle, or drop in the deed to your last 40 acres in South Texas. What’s on the table is the only money you can put “all in” – even if it doesn’t match up exactly with the amount your opponent has.
