Stats of your opponents !?!  0
Hey there mobbies!

I didn't register myself to any website where you can check out the stats of other players, but I think it can be a good tool now and then.

So here or some Question questions Question for anyone who uses websites to check players' stats:

Do you use a free or a paid one, which?

Do you use it rarely just to be curious, or do you really use it tactically (in games)?

Tell me/us more about your experience with it..

Thanks in advance and cu at the tables! Smile

if you mean on HUD's yes I use it... Evrytime I turn pokerstars on, I turn jivaro... its very good HUD and it also have free version, and you can pay like 6 or 7$ per month for full version, but I use free version... I used for 1 month payed version, and its good, but it can mess up with your play if you are playing by players stats...

I use sharkscope occasionally, not sure how much it is for the paid version but you can get 5 free searches daily which sometimes can be very useful if you have a tricky player at your table, always good to know if someone is a winning player.
If I played a lot more poker I would consider paying for it though.

Sharkcope and officialpokerrankings are places what i know and sometimes use, but just for fun. Opr need registration and sharkcope is free for first 5 search.

I dont play so much that i use any helping programs, but if player want to do results in poker, really playing lot, they are more then useful. I would ask, is there someone, who makes real money in poker, still playing without those?

I meant websites where you can see stats/graphs, I'll google the program you use.

Why use anything of that, is all old info on you opponents anyways, it doesn`t paint a picture of their play anyhow, and im against using HUD`s of any sort, the real connection online players have to live players is keeping track how everyone on your table plays, if u let a software do that for u, when u play live u have nothing to do that job except yourself, so don't rely on any software to do the job that was intended for u, coz when u play against live play player all the edge u have against him is keeping track of their play, and if u leave that to a software u r foooooocked. long and short of it is THERE IS NOOOO SOFTWARE IN LIVE PLAY, learn to do the hard work yourself is what im saying Big Smile

I use the ones mentioned above for free, on players who were pissing me off.
I don't play the kind of games often where those stats would give me any kind of tactical advantage.
If somebody is a good player, u will know by the time u would type his/her username into a searching tool so why bother...

There are at least a couple of publicly available databanks (listed below) for cash game players, where you can check/get the game records and basic statistics of certain players.

• pok**ed**.com
• pok**tab**rat****.com

You might also like looking at your own reflection there, which might not be necessarily accurate.

Thanks to all the serious replies, very useful!

By checking stats of players you can instantly see if you can take peoples hands serious.
,when you see that someone is making profit, he will be a steady player and will not call with bullsh1t.

There are more ways how you can use the stats, so don't come with your negative comments about checking stats isn't useful.

Everyone plays poker different and has a different way of thinking and has a different card range.

You're welcome.

It's not easy for me to fully interpret/utilize the numbers during a session. I actually have much more fun looking at them afterwards than actively participating in the games.

G'day mates

Well I personally do not use any HUD's or such when I play poker.
I guess I am just to much of a poker purest at heart.
I know many players do use them but not me.
As far as players looking me up on tracking software sites, well have fun with that.
I do look myself up every once and a while and have always found them sites to be totally wrong about my stats Smile so I say, "please do look me up and get bad info on me."
I went from being a serious player to a recreational player due to my health and personal situation.
wishing you all the best
be cool

I did try one of the training sites that came along years ago but I did find that following a rigid structure of play or just by following stats I was playing hands when I just knew in my gut it was the wrong choice.
A good thing for some players though it does seem many sites are trying to stop players gaining advantages like this.

U mean he/she won't bluff you because he/she is a steady profitable player?
I am not sure what kinda level you play on, but poker is not really about taking peoples hands serious rather than playing out hands which will fair better against their ranges.
Which info btw you won't get if you look after how many dollarooos they've made in the last three month.
