At the moment frauds/swindlers in Sweden are sending out mails addressed from the Swedish tax department. A Swedish poker player saw through the bluff and went to the police after that he had received a CD and false tax form from the "Swedish tax department".
The CD had a self extracting exe-file on it which installs a Trojan with the main function of gathering information such as usernames, passwords and bank account details. When the Trojan has been installed on the computer and someone access the internet from the computer a new Trojan which search for bank account information will be downloaded.
Dag Hardysson works at the Swedish tax department and he confirms that they never send out CD's with tax forms. He warns others that have received this CD to check their computers before accessing internet.
my whole life goes through this computer so stuff like this scares me a bit but im allways trying to be cautious on what to install and download. Crossed fingers
