Nooooo.
The poker brat is expected to tilt. No one wants to see a well behaving Hellmuth at the table.

"to help him cope with the difficulties being he".
sounds funny
nothing to worry i think. thats his temper - not that easy to change. think we still will have our fun on his behavior.

He needs a personality transplant, not a mindset coach! It may even get worse as he'll now be bottling up all his anger. He could EXPLODE.... YAY

He tilits because, hes still living in past, where on his golden times poker players didnt bad beat eachother and played abc poker . Phils probably the only pro whos showing off his anger at tables lol.
Doye Brunson once said in High stakes poker episode after a sick beat he got - that 30 years ago in texas players were hunged or cut fingers off for making such bad play and still win.

Phil is the player who play a lot off combine cards and then he start play he was very aggressive and have a lot off luck then win big his prices with last river card and a lot off hands win on the river now all know how Phil play and they always try not fold then Phil put all in but call if have some good hand combine because Phil can put all in with AA in hand or just j10 in his hand so he play too more unclever hands and become big looser i didnt believe that he can change his playing strategy and he not win 2010 because is most better players will take a part in this show
good luck all

I think what he actually needs (although this would be what *I* need him to do) is to hire an....insult coach! The old 'donk' and 'you don't know how to spell poker' thing just doesn't cut it anymore. He needs some insight from someone like ....R Lee Ermey comes to mind. That would be FUN!
|
dozn01 | 03/02/2010 20:38:08 GMT |
tell him to count to 10 b4 he speaks that will calm him down it works for me

psycokiller | 03/02/2010 23:03:14 GMT |
Hellmuth will always be Hellmuth. If this supposed mindset coach is any good, then you may see something that hasn't been seen in a while.....that being Hellmuth becoming the dominant player he once was.

DaneMitic | 04/02/2010 00:06:36 GMT |
whats the point of watching a calm helmuth? his braindead, crazy, sickness behavior is actually the only reason to watch him and laugh about his spastic comments... srsly, who wants to watch a MEGA TIGHT and FAT donkey playing poker? he better quits poker right away, instead of paying that mind set coach to ruin his career.. -ev for him, imo

leroi21 | 04/02/2010 01:08:08 GMT |
wow maybe one of the greatest poker player in holdem no limit but he is so easy to piss off at a poker table fun to watch but not cool to be at is table but if i was at is table i will call with a stupid hand just to piss im off :d:d
|
GabeKaplan | 04/02/2010 01:11:20 GMT |
he needs to hire a anger mangement coach and to teach him to stop raising 105 off suit and whining when he gets raised, that should clear up all his problems
|
ZmxPowah | 04/02/2010 03:38:00 GMT |
I want to see him saying something like that: "Thank you Sir for going all-in with 2 suited cards against my aces and winning it was pleasure to lost to such decent player like you".
If it would ever happen i would just try to wake up...

LaBaiz | 04/02/2010 17:29:22 GMT |
I actually loved to watch Phil Hellmuth explode after someone busted him after a weird play, great for the TV and it is fun. I don't think I would love a quiet PH.
