Phil Hellmuth is getting closer to his first WPT Title!

Phil Hellmuth has won and achieved almost everything a poker player can dream of. Just listen to this. Phil has won 11 WSOP bracelets, reached the final table in many major poker tournaments, he has interests and is the face for one of the worlds most popular poker sites, Ulimate Bet. And last but not least, he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame 3 years ago.

So what is left to achieve? Well, he has never won a WPT tournament and now he has a great chance to do so as he has made it to the final table of WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star together with 6 other players. Phil will bring 1,150,000 chips to the final table today, and only 2 players have accumulated more chips than him, Andy Seth (1,550,000) and Mclean Karr (1,225,000). However, Phil is the one with most routine and skill of the 7 remaining players. My money is on him!

Hellmuth has a better chance of winning this tourny being 3rd in chips than Ivey did at the WSOP main event (7th)

My money is on him too!!!!, c'mon Phil you are one of the best poker player in the world.
I rembember watching him on tv, folding QQ from any raise, and doing things that just a real payer like him can do it.

Would be nice to see him win again, he hasn't been successful for quite a while now. He can proof now, that he is still able to compete with all the "internet kids", how he calls them.

Close, but no cigar. Hellmuth went out in 6th place. In a raising war between the blinds he got all chips in with QQ vs AJs. River was an ace.

OK so Phil has a big mouth but he is also very confident and skilled player.
He might win this or he might not but you cant take his achievements from him and you cant afford to ignore his poker skills.... unless you are hiding the nuts and he's betting into you ...lol
So will he do it....? i hope so, he has been off the sceen for a while and i know he has had a lot to deal with, but to see him back playing at his best would be great entertainment...
