It's a very sad story; to lose all you won playing games it's a risk you have to consider when begin and happens to choose bad friends too. But health is the most important thing and I really mind for him; then, do you want to add some words about his (ex) girlfriend behaviour ? |
| shaded | 3/17/2010 9:22:14 AM GMT |
Uh that story is bad o0 thats some bad karma i wish he gets back on track. |
| shokaku | 3/17/2010 9:51:49 AM GMT |
Wow. THAT is a downswing.
Nice "friends" you have got, buddy. And once again: "being broke" and "girlfriend" does not compute. |
| magatt966 | 3/17/2010 10:40:19 AM GMT |
very sad story, hope he will rise up as soon as possible... What's happened is just a matter of fact and he can do nothing about the past; but there is a positive side (not so little in my opinion): hoping (i repeat myself) he will rise up he will know there was something wrong with his girlfriends and his friends as well (or at least a bunch of them) and maybe with poker as well; with these (too much sever IMHO) lessons he will be able to set up a better future for himself. go peter don't surrender |
| scl1975 | 3/17/2010 11:06:24 AM GMT |
| poor basturd, wish i was him right now would do me a favour.when you play the big tables it can be all over in a very short time.these people wernt his friends at all.why i have no friends only acquantinses.oh i do have one friend.JESUS.hell vbe back to do it all again. |
| kinogomes | 3/17/2010 11:44:38 AM GMT |
| what a nightmare. look like last year was like an hell to him. losing the girlfriend after he lost all doesnt surprise me at all. girls appear when we are rich and run when we lose it all. thats the way they work. |
| DaMessiah666 | 3/17/2010 11:45:49 AM GMT |
| Somewhere I've read that his girlfriend was Frida Johansson, the EPT masseuse. Even worse luck because if you google a little you would see which kind of woman she is ...! My god ... what a lose! |
| Flippedchips | 3/17/2010 12:11:19 PM GMT |

| jags | 3/17/2010 12:21:00 PM GMT |
He's done it before,he can do it again,he's been up in the real money and that must be an advantage or he can wallow in self-pity,it may sound harsh but you know I'm right. I wish him well and hope he recovers from lifes bad beats as I do you all. |
| teteban | 3/17/2010 3:12:37 PM GMT |
Like shokaku has said above, "riches" and "a beloved girlfriend" are not compatbile. "riches" and "my bitches" are, though. And my bitches also leave me hangin when I have no dough too... Come on, this guys are pure image. No money, no blondie boobies. I envy their money, but I really do not envy their empty lives |
| dozn01 | 3/17/2010 3:14:12 PM GMT |
hmmm i thought once you turned pro it would be nearly impossible to go broke ie good bankroll management ,sponsorships deals,
has any1 got more info on this storey who love to see what went wrong, how come his girlfriend left him, was it because he had no money left? |
| Kristan | 3/17/2010 4:04:29 PM GMT |
| Im pretty sure this is illustrated and things are not that bad. Tho it really is a sad story, I am confident he will be back on his feet sooner or later. gl to you Peter!!!!! |

"hmmm i thought once you turned pro it would be nearly impossible to go broke ie good bankroll management ,sponsorships deals,"

| xxxbchxxx | 3/17/2010 9:00:06 PM GMT |
Ouch! what a sad story... its odd but to think he had all he could ever want then just after a run of poor luck and bad form he's crushed like a fly.... Its really odd / different to here this sort of storey on a poker forum.... odd theres not much any one can say really now is there? poor luck that recked his life . it happens in ever form of enterprisse i feel. Poker isnt impervious to the pain and suffering of every day life... it can grind you down and take every thing it has given so crule...so crule. Be warned the higher you climb the further you have to fall. |
| IslandJack | 3/17/2010 10:34:30 PM GMT |
OMG! Crazy story. Life can be stranger than fiction. It often is. Hope he lives through it all. |
| psycokiller | 3/18/2010 12:12:23 AM GMT |
| Gotta find centre and grind on. |
| GIOMi6 | 3/18/2010 12:50:08 AM GMT |
| This is sad, but also a lesson to all players out there who aren't performing good bankroll management. Do not invest your money in so called friends who aren't able to pay you back. |
| $k | 3/18/2010 7:31:11 AM GMT |

|
| Fakiry | 3/18/2010 11:54:16 AM GMT |
| Its always sad to read a story like this. A man who decided to bet is future on a sport and then things go wrong. Its like watching a footballer breaking a leg. But at least the footballer only stops earning, and poker pros spent it all. |
| Rutg3rB0sch | 3/18/2010 2:37:02 PM GMT |
Do I deserve to say that this just CANT happen. Are there no good people in the world anymore? If someguy will loose his money like this, friends or gilrfriends could help them dont they? Report it to some kind of clinics, make transfers so he wont play for all the money you got. Its sad that something like this CAN happen, and its just badluck that Zupp is paying the price for this system.
|
| Davoodoo | 3/18/2010 3:56:19 PM GMT |
| lol ... just one of many who have had their life destroyed by poker. If you are stupid enough to loan big amounts of money to your "friends" then you deserve to lose it all ... i would suggest the gun and bank so we would see some action. |
| leroi21 | 3/18/2010 9:32:11 PM GMT |
| wow sad story ): hope he dont make the most bad things suicide hope is life get better and found another love of is life |
| Sibbesen | 3/19/2010 11:36:37 AM GMT |
| To bad they haven't even scratched the surface yet! He has spent a lot of money the danish tax bureau ment he owed them, so to top it all off he ows the dansih state a lot of money... |
| MuradMurad | 3/20/2010 10:53:51 AM GMT |
| haha what a classic story. It is what we danes call a Klíche! dont believe it. |
| wdrcasino | 3/20/2010 1:36:13 PM GMT |
| hhmm we all need to change our profession sometimes, so why do the same rule not apply to "poker pros" ? |
| SuperNoob | 3/20/2010 4:28:55 PM GMT |
| sad to read this story but tells you that you cant take anythink for guaranteed in this world. one moment you are king and next you are on the road. hope he can sort out his life |
| dystrybutor | 3/20/2010 5:21:40 PM GMT |
"When he thought things couldn't get worse, he got the swine flue. And as soon as he had recovered -- he broke his foot. He got chronic inflammation in his fingers and returning headache as well. After this, his girlfriend, the love of his life, left him. A man who once had everything a human being could ask for had lost it all."
He gets no luck sadly, i hope he will be albe to get back to the poker tables. |

its realy a sad story but in my book .... its not what happens to someone but what someone does with what happens to him |
| Raggamann | 3/23/2010 7:59:55 PM GMT |
for the badluck in poker: probably he just isn't as good as he thought, a winningplayer doesn't stay a winningplayer forever, so saying its badluck is just a excuse.
for the investments: ever heard of financial crisis? he is not the only one who lost a fortune, and if you alreay have the financial risk of playing poker you should find safe ways of investments.
for the health: swine flu isn't that dangerous, breaking a foot? are you kidding? i broke my foot, arm and leg before i was 18. and what should the people say who got cancer? so don't cry about a little pain
for friends and love: well he seems to have had no real friends. if you are rich there will always be people who just care for your money, i guess he should have relied on his real friends who knew him before he was rich. well and his love? the love of his life left him when he was broke...yeah great choice
there are people who had more badluck and for me it seems it wasn't really badluck in this case. ohh and hey, he HAD a great time, more than most other poor people could hope for |
