After 9 levels of play in the LE Cannes Croisette Casino, the field of 180 players had been squeezed down to a final table with 9 players. In a big lead is no one else than Sam Trickett with 713,500 chips. Trickett, from UK, has had a fantastic tournament year with 2 big cashes at Aussie Millions in January, and in total he has won over $3 million dollars this year. If Trickett takes home this final table today, he will take home another €238k!

But it won't be a walk in the park for the British poker pro as there are some amazing players on the final table today. One player that most probably will be his toughest opponent though is Ramzi Jelassi from Sweden. Jelassi has been around the live tournament scene since 2005 and has managed to take down quite a few tournaments all over the globe.

Jelassi can turn into a stone in Trickett’s shoe, but if Trickett is already chipleading when reaching final table, with all the self-confidence he brings from later victories back in this year, it wont be an easy task for Jelassi to try to distablish Trickett.

We gonna hear a lot of Trickett in the future. He is an amazing player. I saw him a couple of times on TV and playing great poker all the time. I think he got this extra sense for playing poker.

I actually saw him too on Tv playing poker on a sport channel from my country but can't rememberthe name of the show...

Anyways he had a huge stack on the table, they were playing cash games by the way Smile

I'm pretty surprised why viktor didn't wanted to give it a shot to this event considering that nw he is in Cannes Big Smile
