The second starting day of the EPT Prague main event attracted amazing 488 players! Add the 234 players from Day 1a to that and you'll get a new EPT main event record! Out of the 722 participants, 437 players will return to the table in a few hours time and continue the struggle. The chip leader, just like Day 1a, comes from Russia. Andrey Saenko, PokerStars player, played outstanding poker during Day 1b and has accumulated 200,800 - about 20k more than Mads Wissing, from Denmark, in second place.

Day 1b saw a much more interesting field of players than Day 1a, and many pros will return to Hilton's poker room today will plenty of chips. Just to mention 3: William Thorson (ex Team PokerStars Pro - 133k), Ville Wahlbeck (Team PokerStars Pro - 121k), and poker babe and Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree with 108k.

Prize pool
The record breaking 722 players that signed up (€5,300 buy-in) for the EPT Prague main event have created a prize pool of €3,501,700! 104 players will receive a piece from this enormous prize pool and the winner will take home amazing €755,000

great to see new venues performing so well- really think there is still a lot of room for live poker events growth around the world- and the shift from online poker should eventually go towards live poker events- they are way more fun
