Is Isildur1 using a fake alias on PokerStars?

Tags: drpill, isildur1, pokerstars, viktor blom, Wilhasha.
Posted on 09 December 2011 by "T".

There are some quite interesting rumors circulating in different forums at the moment. One of them is that Viktor Blom, whose sponsor deal with PokerStars is about to expire and also hasn't been seen playing on the site for quite some time, has been active lately under a fake nick. "Wilhasha", who has taking on everyone at the $50/$100 NLH tables, is rumored to have used account "drpill" on Full Tilt Poker and was known to have shared accounts with no one else than Viktor Blom.

The style of playing poker and the desire to play against anyone and everyone at these high NLH tables is very similar to Blom and, of course, it has added fuel to the fire. In the past few days, "Wilhasha" has been doing very well with winnings over $200k, but the winning streak might not last long if Viktor Blom is the man behind the steering wheel.

Today Isildur1 played PLO at the same time as Wilhasha was sitting at NL highstakes tables.

Victor Blom did not play with the Wilhasha acount.

Who said Victor Bloms contract with Pokerstars is about to expire?
I dont think they signed him just for 1 year.

I can't imagine some pro like Izildur doing something like this. I know it happened before with other pros, but this isnt something nice for a pro to do, and Izildur don't want to create stains on his carreer with atitudes like this. If its illegal, why would such a good pro do something like this?

Isildur won't compromise his deal with Pokerstars, that would be unwisely, if his contract is extended. He is still the best cash game specialist.
 PhixedGear09/12/2011 17:51:45 GMT
International man of mystery...
 Setera09/12/2011 18:24:45 GMT
Wouldn't see a reason for him to do it either.
But then the question remains:
Who is this "Wilhasha"?
 Macubaas09/12/2011 19:58:19 GMT
No, thats a false news...

As i'm typing this message here both players are online on pokerstars and play different games, plus the location of the first player is sweden and isildur is in london...
 alakz110/12/2011 01:44:06 GMT
thats retarded, he could get sued for that...
 psycokiller10/12/2011 05:18:44 GMT
Multi accounting isn't a new scam, and supposed "pros" have been caught doing it in the past.

With that said, I cannot see Isildur, or any other pokerstar pro doing this. I have to believe that Pokerstars management would be heavy handed should any of their stars were caught doing shady practices especially in light of recent events over the last year.
 Macubaas10/12/2011 20:09:17 GMT
I don't get why people continue to think that this is possible?

The last days both players were online playing at different table but in the same time...
Isildur's location is still UK and that other guy is in Sweden.

i'm not saying they are but it's possible that he's multi-accounting with help of his friends.
many pros have admitted of doing the same, so wouldnt be a surprise.

and its kinda suspicious the way he reappeared after ppl said he was playing from another account
 parabroen10/12/2011 20:30:45 GMT
Isildur1 ended speculation is not wilhasha saw them playing at the same time 2 wilhasha was playing PLO playing NL5000 and Isildur end this suspense so although it is still rare and appeared wilhasha days after Isildur
 mascona10/12/2011 21:57:18 GMT
So tell me please how it was possible without another person ?

2010 ETP Berlin:
Victor Blom is sitting at the tournament table in Grand Hyatt Berlin and at the same time Isildur was online at Full Tilt Poker playing 4 tables HU....
 Satjah10/12/2011 23:59:08 GMT
Straigth what happen in these times,
i hope that every people with dopuble accounts or something like these get banned in the future...
 cuirtom11/12/2011 00:05:34 GMT
i not understant why everyone is interested abou what is doing isuldur.its just a ordinary player
 nodathon11/12/2011 11:04:48 GMT
why do online poker companies put up with this kind of under handedness, yes we all like to play and beat these people, but surely us little people should know who we are playing against, im sorry but this is not a game of poker and bluff from these stars, its down right thiefed and deseption
 Funope11/12/2011 11:33:43 GMT
Is it allowed to let someone play for you when you gave him permission to play for you?

if you do so and poker sites find about it, they'll most likely close your account unless you are big pro, where they take 'strict' action
 rogan1100011/12/2011 11:55:45 GMT
he is a gud player after all

we can only be jealous on him
 Macubaas11/12/2011 20:10:55 GMT
I think it's good that viktor started playing again at the hisg stakes plo cash tables on pokerstars, he won around 600k dollars, the biggest pot was over 200k Big Smile

The biggest loser was VietRussian who is around 230k down...
 Tafkuu12/12/2011 06:48:50 GMT
isildur just dont play that often, thats why you dont see hime often in tables. Simple and easy. imagine if you have so much many, would you play every day?
 misterdargor15/12/2011 10:26:39 GMT
as you see he's back, so i don't think he played under a fake alias
 pochui16/12/2011 12:10:08 GMT
no one can be guaranteed that most of the pros aren't using x fake accounts- online poker is not the most reputable place in the world, so you can either accept that or go and find yourself a safe home game, with the local sharks...and get kicked in the head when they lose a couple tons...lol
 Jorgeezy21/12/2011 14:33:42 GMT
Yeah, I don't think he'd do that, surely he can make enough money without?
 kingjack21/02/2012 15:24:01 GMT
lol.. Smile)
