High Stakes: Viktor Blom won $1,000,000 - in just one session!

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom didn't do so well in the EPT Barcelona main event since he was sent packing during the early stages of the tournament. However, he's probably not crying out loud since he won about $1 million a few days ago - most of it from the Finnish poker pro Ilari Sahamies. In total, Blom has now won $1,7M this month and it's probably just a matter of days before he crosses the $2 million milestone - something that only Gus Hansen has accomplished this year.

I really was going to ask if anyone was over Blom in the ranking of biggest wins in the month, when i read that Gus Hansen is above the $2 million mark. This is great. Enterprises all over the world should stop believing their managers and economists and start betting and supporting this poker players. I think that should be created a fund in which investors could put their money and win percentages according to the wins of the poker player that make the team of the fund. If there are cereal funds, it can also be created poker players fund. I would make some investment on it. Think about having $1,000 there for a year. If all the players would double their bankrolls, so do we! The only obligation was that these players couldnt play against each other, being on the same fund.

Since black friday Viktor Blom seams to be the only one making the news, for the right reasons that is, was not too long ago when people were saying he was a one hit wounder.

He got luck and catched Ziigmund tilted, in fact Ilari admitted on his blog that this was his bigges tilt ever...

And yes, lets hope he doesn't throw them away in couple of days now, but firstly maybe ilari will want a rematch.

I know he still has some bullets to play Smile

the player of the moment in poker. I think he doesn't play as good as all say. He had won in the last few months much money, but was also very lucky. In a few months this story will be history and Viktor Blom a player like everyone else. But for the stack he won: RESPECT

Hah, nice little session Big Smile

Good job Isildur1, and this time don't go lose four millions because I don't think it's good for your bankroll Blink

I don't think Blom is a one hit wonder, he sure has some skills, but I think he still has to improve his game, maybe pick his spots a bit more...
