In the shadow of the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in Bahamas, the World Series of Poker Bicycle Casino Circuit Main Event kicked off last Monday and attracted a record field of 732 players.
After 3 days of play (34 hours), Baptiste Chavaillaz was the last man standing and received a whopping $216,275 + a seat in the WSOP National Championship (May 2013). Chavaillaz, 30, works in the music business and travels the world with famous bands and recording artists. Now he has made a name for himself in the poker world as well.
"It's all still sinking in," he told WSOP. "I've been playing poker for 12 years. But I've never had anything like this happen before. I had not even played in a major tournament like this, ever."
