2015 Aussie Millions, Doug Polk, Mike McDonald, Phil Ivey.
Posted on Monday, February 02, 2015 by "T".
The $250,000 Challenge is currently underway and there are only three players remaining of twenty-five entries: Doug Polk, Mike McDonald and Phil Ivey, who is in the big lead with 3.7 million chips to McDonald's 1.6 and Polk's 795k. Believe it or not but Ivey won this event both in 2012 and 2014. Now, he has a fantastic opportunity of winning a third title! Pretty amazing when you think about it.
The next player to hit the rail with take home AU$1,041,400, second place pays AU$1,592,500, and the last man standing will get just about AU$2.2 million! Check back in a few hours for a final table recap!

It looks like Phil Ivey is in a fantastic position to win his third title and it will come as a big shock if he doesnt win this with the chip lead he has got. Good luck to all three players left in

Somebody please explain to me like I was born (again) yesterday that what is 'challenge' means in these games titles. 'cuz looks like to me that everything beyond the main event is a challenge for the aussies, and it's either won by quirky foreign players or seasoned pros (2012, 2014... I can count. Fibonacci 2016 is the right answer, right? ).

Did he won it? Did HE won IT? On second thoughts Phil Ivey need all the money he can get 'cuz those trips to Macau might be chewing a nice chunks away from his bankroll. I am sure he is winning a truckload from those triad businessman but he probably loosing some too. He need to have a hook other than his own name after all - so he got game.
