It is really a great promotion, but you do not even have to make a deposit to enter a qualification tournament. There is a freeroll running everyday at 19:05 central european time where you can win three tickets + 250 Dollar.

I saw this on the TV recently with quite a lot of big names involved though I am sure that Mike Tindall who is a rugby player and amateur poker player came second to Griffin Benger. As for the qualifiers I think only one actually won their heat and got to the final table.

Just seen this in my email. Make a deposit and get ten free tickets for these games. Hopefully the traffic is small enough to be worth playing if not my account is 50$ beefier anyways Cool . Now to cash in a few of these fcukers n ill be golden
 Heskor21/02/2015 17:09:47 GMT
Hmm this is a good promotion found them a while back and it pits you in a shark cage right this is fun i think there is low risk of you dying by getting eaten by a shark but i think there will be a contract to sign if you die thy are not responsible or some compensation of some sort.

Anyway good luck guys hope you make it maybe we will see you on tv and we can rail you on and watch you skirm underwater lol , cheers peace out guys have fun at the tables and good luck!

I gues you are also playing the freeroll tournament. I have just played it and went out in place 1.200 what is not that bad at all. But luckilly I have already won 2,50 dollar in the first of these tournaments finishing in the top 100.
 Fakiry23/02/2015 19:10:31 GMT
It will by tight to become part of the list. But if we havwhave free tickets, why not give it a try? I still haven't used this code. I have an email too, but i will only deposit if there's still time to play during this weekend. GL everyone!
 arsenej123/02/2015 19:14:06 GMT
I got my tickets but havent found the time to play them yet. Played two but jist threw my chips away entrants is a little higher then i like to play for 50$...but hopefully someone here will do good in them
 pajalnick24/02/2015 09:05:32 GMT
I do not play these games ... and not because I do not think I can win. Of course it can happen at any time. I think that I'm not entirely a bad player and I have a chance. Just these chances are very small and at this time I can win in other tournaments.
I feel that I am not one of the lucky ones. I certainly lucky, but not very much.
 Skpmorita24/02/2015 18:05:50 GMT
i did badly in those
i still have 6 tickets , hope can get one 50$
bigger field than expected i mean 1000-1500 entrants every tourney
top 2% or even less gets a ticket , that is a little payout
it is just feel like i am playing weekly round 2 satellite
anyway good luck mobsters , hope one of us can cash-out at least once

I have zero interest in this particular event, however if you could be playin' for a real sharkcage holidays near the coast of hawaii or australia they might be get me to take a really serious look into qualifying. I just love natures lil' predators.
 StS525/02/2015 17:29:23 GMT
From my point of view it is not worth making a deposit to get some tickets for the event only if you want to make one anyway. But still I am playing the shark cage freeroll every day. Unfortunately I have not one anything since my cash on day one.

Yeah, but you know after the ticks been used you could withdraw the money again, so you could depo for the next big promo after next with the same sum.You could 'play' with the same $50 for years - just deposit, withdraw and redepo again only for the promos which give you ticks.
Ideally.

Are you absolutely sure about that? You can really withdraw your money again and redeposit and so and so forth without any strings attached? Have you tried this or is it just a theory of yours? If so I will reevaluate my stands on this matter.

Why are you tilting at all on a free? The moment you registered you knew there isn't going to be 'raining money' on you nor it's going to be a cakewalk. Just lay back, open a beer and try not to get worked up under any circumstances. Not worth the anger.

About the ticks. You could only loose them if you withdraw before using them up. Once you played through that tourey which you get in for you are free to go. If you redepped with the '100k' code you have entrance to the daily privilege frees for 30 days. If you withdrew during that you loose your ticket. If you redepo with the 'skrillept' code you have to play that tourey and after it you could withdraw without probs. I was talking about this of course. But if you cut up that 50-60 bucks into $10-$20 sums and use them whenever you get a promo you like - theres no plus wagering attachement next to it if the promos didn't stated specificely otherwise.

From my point of view it does not matter that much whether this is a freeroll or not. If you are getting so close to winning something big and then just miss out on it it always sucks, especially if you have been playing for a long time to get there.

Yeah, exactly. That is WHY I hardly got worked up about them, since freerolls are timeconsuming and having mostly bad payout structures I won't make a big fuzz about it if I will be the bubble boy. Nor should anybody. Especially if you entering them by dozens a day.
 vic7506/03/2015 15:03:51 GMT
Poker Stars had the shark cage promotion previously with the same 1K added too the prize pool but with a standard payout structure like with the 100K free rolls 1 hour and 20 minutes and ITM i won't bother playing these in the future if only top 20 get paid 4 and a half hours of play in most tournaments depending on the amount of entrants you are close or at a final table.

They aren't really about the 'payoff' as much as about getting into the tvshow.

I absolutely disagree with you on that point, because it is just a wrong thinking. Take the shark cage freeroll for example. The top 100 are winning 2,50 dollars and if you are the bubble boy and win nothing you should be as disappointed when not reaching the money places in 3 dollar buy in tournament with 2,50 dollars for the last paid place.
 bowie198408/03/2015 12:47:33 GMT
Shark Cage is a promotional tourey which is held to get you close entering the tvshow and play next to seasoned pros. Everything else in that prizepool does not matter in terms of payback. You either get in, or you don't.
Again, I was not talking about buy-in touries, I specificaly mentioned freerollers and in that context I made logical statements.

I think I got your point and I respect your views on this matter, but you are not getting mine. There is no difference in terms of payout whether you burst on the bubble in a freeroll or a buy in tournament, when the the money you would have won is the same.
