Last hand:
Ringe:AsJs/Jc6c6hJd/7s
Vitch:Qc6h/AhJh8s2s/9d
With almost half his stack already in for the ante, Vitch commits his final chips blind. Ringe calls with a pair of jacks, and he has a nice head start on Vitch's ace high. Neither player improves their hands until sixth street, where Ringe picks up three jacks, and Vitch picks up a low draw. Vitch needs to complete that low to survive, but he can't do it, as the 9d comes instead.
Vitch will have to settle for the $111,860 second place prize, while London native Gerald Ringe wins his first WSOP gold bracelet, and $180,943 with it!

Many congratulations to Gerald Ringe on winning this event and the first place prize money of $180,943. It's great to see another British player winning a bracelet and lets hope we see another

Wow, such an obscure type of poker yet they had over five hundred entries! Probably some player did think that this event will be easier because of a not so popular format, but these niche things are a magnet for seasoned pros and semis just like this guy above.

I was surprised to see that there were 34 women players in this event, the female numbers have been very low this year so to see that many in this type of game is strange.
Good to see the UK managing to win bracelets.

Dunno, do you have some data from previous years of how much women were involved in different WSOP events? I am not saying the numbers aren't low, but seems to me that many of them were rather picky on what event to play on compared to the male pros (where you could find many who entered dozens).

Though after some careful look around in the hendonmob database brought me the numbers that among women the top5 all time money leader on WSOP made just above 7 million together.
That is only 10% of the what the men made together in the top5 all time money lead. Interesting stuff.
