On Sunday, 37-year-old American poker pro Robert Mizrachi took down the $10k Seven-Card Stud Championship for $242,662! The event attracted 87 entrants (4 players less than last year) and Mizrachi was crowned the champion after a winning a very thrilling heads-up battle against Matt Grapenthien, who won this event two years ago by overcoming a 4-1 chip disadvantage against Todd Brunson.
This was Robert Mizrachi's fourth victory at the World Series of Poker, which means that he now has one more gold bracelet than his brother, Michael "the Grinder" Mizrachi.
A fun fact about this event is that 9 of 10 top finishers had previously earned at least one gold bracelet (17 bracelets combined). Stay tuned for more WSOP updates!
