Posted on 16 February 2018 by "T".

credit: pokernews.comThe 2018 partypoker Live Millions Germany Main Event is currently underway with all four Day 1 starting flights in the books. The €5,300 buy-in tournament saw a combined field of 1013 entries, which means that the  €5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool is covered by player buy-ins.

Day 2 of the tournament kicks off today and Swedish online poker legend Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is among the top players in the chip counts. Blom, who finished 15th place for €11k in the €2.7k buy-in Warm Up Event a few days ago, has 8.8 million in chips with the average stack being 3.1 million.

There are 324 players remaining and Blom is just one of many big names with plenty of chips, which means that he must play his very best poker if we wants to advance further in the tournament.

The official prize pool and payouts will be announced later on today. The final table is scheduled for this Sunday.

You can watch the tournament live here:

This one got many players in more than 1000 Smile
And the buy in is for most of us a respectful 5300. For most of them just change Smile
Nice thing there is a link for live video. Always nice catching some live action.

Funny that he plays more live now than online. Back in the days he was all about online play and whenever he showed up at one of these live tournies the older pros kicked his a$$. Seems to me the tables have turned.

I support every player, not only famous. But maybe this event show us new poker star, and someone not well-known will enter the world of huge cash, beauty babes etc Blink

mysik86 this player Viktor Blom is a professional player with great results in online poker. He is known for many years in this industry. He managed to create a huge bankroll from small sums many times and sometimes losing large amounts of money quickly. It was a few years pokerstars ambassador and after that he signed with the unibet poker. He's a very strong player and a star in the poker online or more.

the Swedish online poker legend Victor "Isildur1" Blom is certainly a very famous name and this name should attract a lot of players ... the prize fund of the tournament is also very attractive and I think many players who did not play in such tournaments for the first time took part in it

Yeah, I think you are a bit misjudging these events if you think anobody going there just to play with Isildur or another famous pro. They are simply there for winning money, that is the only attractive quality.

yeah like bowie says it is quite a shift in the realm seeing blom plying his trade at the real poker tables instead of the virtual ones, maybe he finds the smell sweaty armpits attractive proposition... anyway good luck to blom for no other reason other than I do not know any of the rest

I have been watching the final day live streaming coverage.

The final table has just been set!

I think his play is getting shifted towards live tournaments more - or maybe he is just simply staked - an that is why we starting to see him anywhere worth mentioning.

this guy and the guy, no doubt, I think he's going to start the tournament because he's a very good player and whenever I watch him I see another way to play poker because it always seems to change the way we play. Let's go sildurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
 Mober20/02/2018 15:20:07 GMT
With his past performance and earning, i dont think he is in need for staking,
to play in live tournaments.
And if you have reached his level and results, why would you ever want to
start sharing your winnings with others.
