Who wouldn't want to spend a vacation on a warm sunny beach and play poker this November? Hundreds of players are vying to get a spot for the upcoming partypoker Caribbean Poker Party located in Bahamas, where the poker operator is hoping to make a good impression with a live series in a place that for almost 15 years has been the home of PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
This new segment added to partypoker's LIVE MILLIONS series is scheduled from November 9 to 18, 2018. The setting is the brand new Baha Mar, the biggest hotel and casino complex in the Caribbean that opened in June, featuring three separate resort hotels of 2,300 rooms perched atop the pristine white sands of Cable Beach.
As players marvel over the setting, the tournament's attention grabber is over $22 million in guaranteed prize pools, which includes a $10 million guaranteed Main Event ($5,300 buy-in).
According to partypoker, they're expecting around 2,000 players to join.
Rivalry with PokerStars The first two editions of this series were actually held in the Dominican Republic, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana. This decision to move the event to the Bahamas is a clear indication that partypoker wants to take on PokerStars' long-time dominance in the region.
Nassau, Bahamas has always been the home of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (now called the PokerStars Players Championship) at the nearby Atlantis Bahamas Resort since 2004. For a long time now this area has been a favorite destination in one's poker calendar every January.
PokerStars' Bahamas event is scheduled on January 6 to 14, 2019. Players still have the chance to win one of over 300 Platinum Passes to the $25,000 championship event. A Platinum Pass also includes free airfare and hotel accommodation in the Bahamas.
partypoker Caribbean Poker Party Highlights This November, for high rollers, the high-stakes action starts instantly for them with a $25,500 buy-in Millions World ($10 million guaranteed) high roller NLHE tourney on the first day. It is expected that more than 400 of the top players in the game will compete in this event.

November 10 to 17 - $5,300 Main Event NLH ($10 million guaranteed)
November 14 to 16 - $250,000 Super High Roller Championship NLH (no guarantee)
November 15 to 17 - $1,100 Finale NLH ($1 million guaranteed)
November 15 to 17 - $10,300 High Roller NLH ($1 million guaranteed)
For low-stakes players, there are five tournament events with a $275 buy-in. Overall, there will be 11 events along with several satellites available.
The opportunity to win millions of dollars isn't the only thing that's attracting poker players to come over to the Caribbean. Since the temperature can reach freezing levels in many parts of the globe that time of the year, the idea of being able to bask under the warm sun and frolic in white sandy beaches of the Bahamas is definitely appealing.

I like to play in party poker and now for me it is the best poker room, so i like to see party poker to try and get big and maybe one day to be biggest poker room in world, because i remember i play in party poker many years ago and it is most popular poker room in world

It doesn worth winning a package if it is possible, through satellites, or low buy in tournaments, just to go and stay at that resort. Everyone with a sat package wouldnt have s single problem with no winning from the tournament. Winning on top of that, would have been the cherry on the pie

I thinking this is my dream holiday, to be in bahamas one week in good hotel and eat good food and play poker for one week in many tournaments with big prizes. Of course to win something in tournament is another good thing for holiday
It is certainly very beautiful but for that you must to be a good player who make money from poker, and your bank account allows you to play in those tournaments. Who would not want to go there? Maybe just rich people or sick people who can not move. Is a vacation, that is not worth the miss, if you have this opportunity.
