At the start of June, partypoker announced there will be a series of low buy-in Team Online home games scheduled weekly, which are going to be hosted by each member of the newly-formed stream team.

As part of a wider streaming strategy by the company, partypoker’s Team Online was established in February 2019, which is composed of a lineup of some of poker’s top streamers and content creators.

One of the Team Online pros, Jaime Staples, said, “We are incredibly excited to launch home games for each member of our Team Online. People that watch Twitch want to play with the broadcaster as well. Now we can do that 13 times a week on partypoker.”

The home games began on May 31, Friday, with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $5.50 for each daily tournament and each Team Online host shall have a bounty on their heads worth $25 cash.

Other than that, if you reach a final table in any home game, you get to earn a seat into the regular “Twitch Open”, scheduled every Saturday at 21:00 CET featuring a buy-in of $11 plus $25 cash for every Team Online member eliminated aside from guest bounty players in the recurring event.

As an extra incentive, those who join in a minimum of one Team Online home game shall get a ticket to a “MILLIONS Qualifier” freeroll, which allows them to play for the chance to win a prestigious partypoker LIVE MILLIONS seat! A total of five freerolls will be given away throughout the year, each awarding a MILLIONS Main Event entry worth $10,300 and the schedule is as follows:

  • June 15 – MILLIONS Vegas Freeroll
  • July 27 – Millions Europe Freeroll
  • October 26 – Caribbean Poker Party Freeroll
  • November 30 – MILLIONS Online Freeroll
  • December 14 – MILLIONS UK Freeroll

The freerolls to be given away are in the form of tickets, exclusive to players who have joined in at least one home game. Therefore, it is considered a wonderful added-value for players.

The Team Online home games shall all be live-streamed on each host’s personal Twitch channel, and the games can be found by searching the site’s Tournament Name under the “Tourneys”tab.

Here is the home game schedule:

This poker room is almost full of surprises. A lot of prizes that normally can only make you to play here. I think at this moment Party Poker is on the second place in this industry. He knows how to attract his clients. Things are evolving here and you have to make money.

Nice and interesting move from Partypoker. Streams become more and more popular among the players nowadays, so no wonder that poker rooms invent new strategies, which supposed to be more interesting for viewers. Probably I'll watch some of them.

PartyPoker is trying to be more attractive for all players who do not have a lot of money to participate in big tournaments ..... You can try to take part in big big tournaments through satellites and this is a great opportunity .... not only those people who have big money now can play in cool tournaments .... now everyone has this chance

A couple of years ago I was watching streams on Twitch by Full Tilt and Pokerstars on a regular basis, now I have less time for such kind of things, but it's always interesting to watch pros playing online. You can learn a lot from them.

Not really. If that would be so easy we would all be pros right now.

Of course, if you watch the game of professionals, you can emphasize something useful for yourself .... but when you play tournaments, probably in the first place, your own experience comes out and only then what you saw in the game of professionals .... I watched one tournament online and played at the same time ... in general, following the game of professionals, I lost everything

Yes obviously it's hard to become a pro just by watching successful players in action or copying their play, but still it's possible to get some good advices and tips from them, especially for beginners. Also for me it's easier to play while watching streams, being a part of a community which is doing the same thing at the same time.

I watch streams sometimes but it's hard to me to concentrate on the game I play and on the game I watch at the same time. I would just rather play instead.

Yeah they are pretty good and have good promotions for "bad players" like me who just started to get cashback or just play micro touraments.

Looks really interesting, too bad I won't have the time to actually play in any of them. My life has been a rollercoaster lately of things to that and when to do them. As soon as it feels like I'm down on a normal level, the stress comes back and things pile up.

You do not have to play now, but if the prizes are attractive, you can play when time permits you. You do not have to hurry to see this, because if you do not have the pleasure to play at that time, you have the chances to lose your money.
