888poker to Host WPTDeepStacks Events in April 2021

888poker announced that it will host three series with WPTDeepStacksTM for poker players on its European and global networks.

These three events will offer players the chance to compete versus their respective networks for massive prizes and a WPTDeepStacks title: WPTDSTM London Online (ROW), WPTDS Iberia Online (Portugal and Spain), and WPTDS Italy Online (Italian network).

Date: April 18 to 26, 2021
Prize Pool: More than $3 million guaranteed
Three series:

  • WPTDS London Online (ROW)
  • WPTDS Iberia Online (Portugal and Spain)
  • WPTDS Italy Online (Italian network)

The said events would be the first time that 888poker's three networks will share liquidity and sync playing a major series. This will give players a chance to join in exciting poker action on the new 888poker platform Made To Play with affordable buy-ins, high guaranteed prizes, and the chance to win the prestigious WPTDeepStacks title.

All three series are scheduled from April 18 to 26 and shall have more than $3 million guaranteed prizes overall. WPTDS London Online, will see players compete for over $2 million in guaranteed prizes (with a $1m guaranteed main event), while WPTDS Iberia Online and WPTDS Italy Online will offer respective prizes of €400,000 and €350,000. Each network will feature 16 events and all 48 winners will receive a prestigious WPTDeepStacks trophy.

The WPTDS London Main event will be a multi-flight event with satellites & flights starting on March 5. Flights will be running daily from April 18 through April 25. Day 2 will be played on April 26 until a winner will be crowned. Players can buy-in to the WPTDS London Online main event for $1,050, while WPTDS Iberia and WPTDS Italy Main events will feature a single starting flight on April 25 with €125 buy-in and €150,000 guaranteed prize each.

Four streaming days are scheduled for the series across major streaming platforms and will feature commentary from David Tuchman, Nick Wealthall and Matt Savage.

 

888poker ambassadors and WPT Champions Chris Moorman and Dominik Nitsche will be taking part in the festival along with 888poker full network of pros.

this tournaments show how 888 poker site must have almsot in every country domain to be able to offer players from this countries chance to play,which will be even worse in next years!probably they must do,because you cant be part of this tournaments from every country,so they must make them separately!its good that they will have big prize pool and that other two dont have such a big buy in as this one in london!

It sounds very fun what 888poker is doing, create events with the three 888poker networks in liquidity and they will synchronize playing important series and with affordable buy ins and the opportunity to win great prizes and the title, it gives much merit to those who are holding the room Good luck to everyone who participated in these events.

It is a wise idea, but it is a sin that this poker who was 10 years ago no longer exists. Now
it is restrictive in some countries or parts of the world and it's like a closed circuit club. I like to play with players from all countries and here is a small chance to do that. Good job 888

That is the objective of being able to have the opportunity to play with all the players on the planet, it hurts that it cannot, but the rooms are working hard on it, 888poker is always aware of it, and now it is offering this great tournament with its three networks joining in, that's great.

its strange to see how many sites are blocked in every country and how they must make almost new sites in lot of countries,to pay domain in specific country,instead to have one main where all players will play and tax you can play to every goverments!on this way it looks stupid and in lot of countries they will be closed for good,because they are to small for 888 to pay tax!
till this tournaments we have over one month,so who know which country will be new that is closed for 888 site!we will read about this winners in next month!

It is difficult the situation in some countries to be restricted to many players from not being able to play poker online and in general in online casinos, that should change, hopefully in the not too distant future this may be a reality and we have the opportunity to play without no restriction for players.

I forgot to look for the satellites of this series, because in 888 i don't play too often and for me it's a damn room or unfortunate. I tried to play a lot there, but profit was too small. Maybe something has changed this year and i had to try a few games to see because these series are great for making money.

I think that in this year and years that will come this regulation will be even harder for players and that every country,especially in EU will make some decision to make sites to pay tax in every country,to have licence or to close this site like they do in serbia and that only domestic site can make money which ofcourse isnt good for anybody!

I am very disappointed with the new 888 poker software because it is no longer set like the old ones. In this way many players will not find many tournamens. They want to attract customers but destroy simple things. It's incredible because i can't find many games.

I also think that the new software is much worse when the old one. Right now as i can see it,s sometimes a bit hard to understand where to find something. In past as i remember they had a button just to use the old version, so some people who prefer the old version can use it, but i,m not sure, that you can find it right now.

I didn't have that option but they will lose many game entries. I searched and it's a little harder than before of course, but in the end i find. I will continue to play here, because it is a good room compared with others. Deep stack tournaments are good because we have time to return, but for now i'm limited to satellites.

I stop to play cash games there just because of the new soft, because you need to have this button and some people just like the old soft as well. That was a great celebration for sure, with lots of this freeroll and free money and cash drops, but right now you just need to play cash games and it,s a bit uncomfortable, but maybe just need some time and everything will be ok.

You can play tournaments and satellites, because deep stack gives more time to think or come back, when you lose a lot of chips. 888 has good tournaments even if there are not too big prizes, but a few times a year they create series... where the prizes increase seriously.
