The 2024 World Series of Poker full schedule has now been released by the WSOP this February 2024.

The richest, most prestigious and longest-running poker series - the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is back this year to bring an unforgettable live poker action for everyone!

2024 World Series of Poker

  • May 28 to July 17, 2024
  • Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
  • Highlight: $10,000 WSOP Main Event
  • Satellites for several events

The 55th annual WSOP returns to the Las Vegas Strip from May 28 to July 17, 2024 at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, offering nearly 700 tables, more variety, several new events, and of course, the highly coveted WSOP Main Event Bracelet.

This year, a record-breaking total of 99 bracelets - the most at a live WSOP in history - will be awarded across a span of eight weeks.

Also, there will be bracelets awarded on WSOP.com in the merged network of New Jersey and Nevada, as well as the segregated markets of Pennsylvania and Michigan; although their complete schedule has yet to be revealed.

The 2024 WSOP builds on the momentum of a successful 2023 tournament season that saw 250,397 players from 100+ countries compete and enjoy a share of the record-breaking total prize money of $425 million. This upcoming summer event shall feature the largest capacity in series history - 700 tables spread across more than 200,000 square feet of convention space, almost a dozen new events including the interesting Double Board Bomb Pot, and the introduction of "Landmark Mega Satellites" where players collect a set amount of chips to win entry into target events.

2024 WSOP Main Event
The highlight of the 2024 WSOP will be the $10,000 NLHE World Championship, best referred to as "The Main Event", which is scheduled July 3 to 17.

Last year's WSOP Main Event attracted a total of 10,043 entrants, the largest field in the history of live poker, in which Daniel Weinman was crowned as its champion. He took home $12.1 million, also a Main Event record. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Weinman became the first American to win the WSOP Main Event since 2018, taking home $12.1 million, the largest Main Event first-prize payout in series history.

The main attraction of the WSOP, the $10,000 buy-in Main Event, will play down to a final table of nine players on Sunday, July 14. The winner will then be crowned after a two-day final table action on July 16 and 17.

In an effort to make sure that this year's Main Event can once again break records, WSOP officials are doing what they can to achieve that, by offering numerous satellite options and also a great idea they came up with - the creation of unique and intriguing new 2024 WSOP events! Some of them are:

  • Event #1: $5,000 Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout
  • Event #41: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot
  • Event #65: $5,000 Seniors High Roller No-Limit Hold'em
  • Event #80: $800 Independence Day Celebration No-Limit Hold'em
  • Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold'em

New WSOP Event #1
Daniel Weinman and many previous WSOP Main Event champions shall kick off the 2024 edition with a brand new event - the Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout. Designated as Event #1 for this year's series, it features a $5,000 buy-in with an exciting twist - players who successfully knock out a former Main Event champion will receive an automatic entry into the 2024 WSOP Main Event as their bounty. All living Main Event champions will be given a free entry to play in the event.

Satellites
Want to join in on the WSOP action but don't want to break the bank? Good news, as this year's WSOP has plenty of satellite events available. These satellites give you the chance to win your way into a big buy-in event for less!

SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP Ty Stewart said:
"We're proud to be Las Vegas's original Main Event. Records are made to be broken, so our motto this year is bigger and better. With our best schedule ever and more than 100 additional poker tables, we look forward to welcoming legends, first-timers and everyone in between. If you're a poker player, there is simply no experience on earth like the World Series of Poker."

Yeah , but every player can try!
 geseco1207/03/2024 00:29:41 GMT
You are right, all players can try and have the possibility of winning a big tournament in these world series, it is not easy, the variance of poker in tournaments is great, that is why you have to have a lot of patience.

he's not a poker player, but he can try. I played poker this year more often, but online and i hope to have a good result one day in a more serious tournament. Playing the WSOP is not for me, but good luck mobsters.

To play the world series of poker you have to have money to be able to pay for everything until you get to the tables to play, but if you save today you will be able to have enough money to play in the world series that are unique and exciting for every poker player.

Then you can save points from reviews and posts from brm till summer and you can go to play!

As for playing live, it's also not for me. I couldn't bear the nerves, especially when I got to the next stage, I would burn out. Moreover, to play WSOP in the main event, you need to have a buy-in of USD 10,000, and money for tickets, hotel, etc. To win such a tournament, you need not only the skills of playing live poker, but also a lot of luck....

$12M was the prize for the winner of the WSOP main event last year , it wouldn't surprise me if this year is bigger . The players want to play poker , after the Corona shutdown , now poker blooms again . Live poker , cause online it's a different story .
 dule-vu09/03/2024 10:19:38 GMT
Probably it will be bigger, but we will see!
 geseco1210/03/2024 03:12:57 GMT
That's right, last year the first one took more than 12 million dollars, but I think that net it is less because they have to pay taxes in their country, I think it is 30%. Only the country of the United Kingdom does not pay taxes, and the players at the final table who won took all the money.
 dule-vu10/03/2024 04:55:14 GMT
Serious words!
 antonis32110/03/2024 16:48:24 GMT
If I won the main event I would stop playing poker . Take the money and invest it . That's what a former main event winner did . Spent some of it unsuccessfully in high stakes cr** games but then he stopped playing and made good use of the rest of the money . Ofcourse if you win the main event and you don't already have a sponsor , you soon will have one , and sponsor money can be used for poker bankroll .
 CALICUL10/03/2024 17:23:59 GMT
yes, a small player who wins such a title can give up poker and live peacefully. A few million dollars are enough to live nicely without spending absurdly. Good luck.
 geseco1211/03/2024 04:25:23 GMT
That's right, if you win a tournament like these you ensure your entire life and many more generations, there are millions at stake, that is why these world series become very interesting for many players.
 dule-vu11/03/2024 05:50:56 GMT
For sure!
 antonis32111/03/2024 20:27:58 GMT
Yeah I think you pay a subscription somewhere in order to watch WSOP , I think it's poker go or ESPN or whatever . Anyway . Maybe I will pay one month this year just for fun , see if it worth's it . Such a series would be great if it was streamed for free on YouTube or for subscription on netflix
 dule-vu11/03/2024 20:40:06 GMT
You can always find free streams!
 geseco1212/03/2024 15:56:33 GMT
There are many platforms where you can watch it for free but there are always some restrictions, but as a paid option you can enjoy everything that happens in the world series of poker that is about to be launched.
 dule-vu12/03/2024 16:45:20 GMT
If somebody want, he will find way to watch! Not that they need to pay for it!
 geseco1213/03/2024 18:12:15 GMT
But most of the platforms that exist to watch the world series in full are paid, I don't know of free platforms to watch the world series, because there are other platforms that show it but when the game has already happened.
 dule-vu13/03/2024 18:25:52 GMT
You will play live in las vegas, so you dont have to search for free stream!
 geseco1215/03/2024 00:27:07 GMT
Yes there are platforms where they show some events for free, but if you want to see them all you have to pay, it is an excellent event where all poker players come together to make these wsop2024 a reality
 CALICUL15/03/2024 00:34:44 GMT
it's the cream of the world poker that comes here to try to win fame and especially bracelets. There is no doubt that the professional players are the most prepared for the WSOP, because it is the most beautiful poker series in the world.
 geseco1216/03/2024 03:27:27 GMT
That's right, professional players are the ones who are always prepared at all times to play these events and even more so when it comes to the world series of poker, everyone wants to be there, it won't be long until they see it.
 dule-vu16/03/2024 05:41:53 GMT
