F1 Legend Joins Team Unibet

Formula One legend Mika "Flying Finn" Häkkinen is Unibet's latest ambassador! The 49-year-old Finn made his F1 debut at the age of 22 and retired in 2007 after a successful career with, for example, two world champion titles for McLaren in 1998 and 1999. He will bring Unibet's customers exclusive F1 content and unique GP experiences.

"Unibet is the number one company in the gaming industry, and it's great to be a part of the team. In the world of Formula One and motorsports in general, there are still a lot of things that the fans don't get to see. I've experienced it closely as a driver and nowadays as an advisor and team member, and now I also want to get the fans inside F1 together with Unibet," Häkkinen explained.

"As everyone knows Formula One in 2017 is all about change; and that's good news because when I visited pre-season testing in Barcelona, I really thought the new cars not only looked quick, they also looked spectacular. They look how a Formula One car should, which is great because I think the sport has lost some of its direction in recent times", Häkkinen added.

What team? I really-really doubt that he gambles a lot of any let alone playing poker especially at Unibet. Drinking, on the other hand now that is the natural sport of the people from the north. Many former F1 drivers doing it too.

i cant see this boosting poker, but sport betting on the other hand will be good if your a f1 fan if they do promos for sport betting that is and not poker
interesting though no news has come through about 1. igor being stars new pro. or 2. regs are calling for boycotting stars events...

Of course to attract new players and retain old players, poker rooms use many well-known personalities for advertising .... and this is certainly good for famous personalities in the sense of money ... but personally for me this advertisement is useless ... I play in my favorite rooms not Looking at advertising

I´m verry surprised, that Unibet have a own Formula 1 team now Blink I thought in the past they offer poker and casino games, or Häkkinen is a new sport betting pro? I´m sure that a lot of people open a Unibet accout when they hear that Häkkinen was the new Ambassador...

I have often said that these Ambassadorial roles are a great job to have and this looks like a very good move for Mika. They must take a lot of bets on F1 if they need an Ambassador.

I remember mika hakkinen from those days ehen hebwas fighting with michael shumacher for the f1 titles. He was very good racer for mclaren-mercedes team. Like most finnish people in sport he also doesn't like to smile a lot, but now when unibet pays hom money he loolk more happy

Unibet maybe Number One when Scandinavia is involved somehow otherwise I am pretty sure that bet365, betfair and maybe william hill/pinnacle has the top3 spot in europe if we only think about sportsbetting.

My utmost congratulations go out to Mika Pauli Häkkinen for being appointed as an ambassador for unibet. I believe that he is going to be the perfect representative for unibet brand which is known for their uniqueness.

Another ambassador get added, this time in unibet.
At least this time is someone i have heard off, not like some others Smile
I have looked a couple of times to see how much they get paid for it,

Hey. Mikka hakkinen is a super hero to many sports fans, especially in his home country of Finland. There are a whole load of f1 fans even at unibet who will be impressed with the signing up of the flying Finn as an ambassador. Good luck to him and unibet however they use him as I am sure it will be worth while.
