International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its Wheel of Fortune and Megabucks slots awarded two life-changing jackpots, which reached a total of more than $11.7 million in July 2023.
Below are the lucky slot players who became instant multi-millionaires last month:
- July 7 - a man won $10,488,726 from just a $3 bet when he played Megabucks Double Diamond DeluxeTM at Cannery Casino Hotel in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
- July 24 - a player won $1,286,326, playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Red Hot 7'sTM at Gaughan Airport Slots at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The $10.4 million jackpot is Nevada's second largest Megabucks slots jackpot this year. The biggest jackpot so far was hit on April 2, 2023 when a Megabucks slots player won $14,005,833 on Megabucks Mega Vault at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada.
Wheel of Fortune slots have made over $1,100 millionaires and awarded more than $3.5 billion in jackpots since its launch in 1996.
