Harrowing video footage has captured the moment a punter collapsed from a heart attack immediately after winning a $6 million jackpot at a Singapore casino.
A high-stakes casino player unfortunately suffered a massive heart attack just moments after he won a $6.11 million jackpot.
After realizing the insane amount won, the man began to jump for joy around the jam-packed casino before he dramatically collapsed on the ground, clutching his chest.
Panicked players watched on as staff members tried to revive the fallen gambler, The Sun reported.
The harrowing moment was captured on video, which showed the stricken man's female companion become increasingly distressed as he lays lifeless on the floor.
The woman can be heard pleading with the man to survive and asking others to help as a huge crowd surrounded him.
The scary incident happened at the popular Marina Bay Sands Casino in Singapore on Saturday, June 22.
Fortunately, the man managed to survive the heart attack, struck it lucky as he took home the equivalent of £3.2 million ($6.11 million) payout.
As a regular patron of the casino, the man realized the win was a great life-changer. While openly celebrating and punching the air, he suddenly fell to the ground, having a heart attack apparently triggered by extreme shock and excitement of his casino jackpot win.
He was swiftly brought to the hospital and is still recovering before he is set to come back to the casino to cash in his chips.
Contrary to the viral video, Marina Bay Sands Casino disputed the amount the man had won and denied that the man had died: "We would like to clarify that the news being reported and the video circulating online is factually untrue. It is understood that no guest died in Marina Bay Sands' casino after winning $4 million or £300,000. There was a guest who had fallen unconscious in the casino, but he is alive and in recovery. The guest did not win $4 million or £300,000."
The Marina Bay Sands Casino is owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands, but this casino sits in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District.
Others Not So Lucky
Back in 2002, a casino player won a £8,000 ($15,200) jackpot on a slot machine at Harrah's in Atlantic City.
A few moments after staff gave a bumper check to the 61-year-old, he suffered a fatal heart attack.
He was pronounced dead in the casino lounge minutes after.
Another similar unfortunate event happened in the US in April when a man suffered a cardiac arrest as he sat a blackjack table in Las Vegas.
David Jagolinzer was staying at the Wynn Resorts Hotel in Nevada when he "began convulsing" at his seat and fell face first onto the blackjack table.
His family claimed he was left slumped over his chips for more than 20 minutes before someone came over to check on him. Six months later, at age 48, he died - prompting his family to ask questions over how his casino trip may have worsened his condition, the Miami Herald reported.
It's good that he survived. It would be bad to die on the day of such luck. I hope he will improve his health. Especially since he now has money for better hospitals and doctors.
This man won more than 6 million dollars in these games, but at the same time he could have died with that heart attack, now he is calmer and more stable, I hope this helps him to keep track in various situations.
Lol . He should be more careful at his age with celebrations and over excitement or anxiousness ..heart attacks and strokes are a plague nowadays , so many come to close to death due to these health problems .
It is always advisable to go with someone when it comes to older people, sometimes a bad fall or a blow to the brain can be fatal, thank God that this player is calmer, he will be able to enjoy his winnings in this casino.
This is the situation and some people did not take care of their health in time. When they get older, they have such heart attacks and are very lucky to escape with their lives.

I mean these are not modern problems. We could say back then they were less frequent but there were a dozen other incurable things which could have meant an early death for most people.
At least now he is fine , he recovered, now a whole $6M waits for him to spend it with his girlfriend , family anyone else . Really lucky win ,$6M is life changing money for sure !!!
Sometimes I think what would have happened if this man had died from the cardiac arrest he suffered, those 6 million dollars would have been claimed and who?? Maybe the family members could do it and always remember the amount of money he left in these games.
Sometimes not everyone is so lucky, there in the same news story tells another story of a player in 2002, who won a jackpot of £8,000 ($15,200) in a slot machine at Harrah's in Atlantic City. A few moments after the staff handed a generous check to the 61-year-old man, he suffered a fatal heart attack. He was pronounced dead in the casino floor minutes later, sometimes that is out of our hands.
But I think we all know if we are hypertensive and we can suffer too much if we have impressions like this, sometimes receiving strong news for a person who suffers from it can be very fatal.
This is of utmost importance and should be talked about a lot, sometimes we make mistakes that can cost us our lives, we know our relatives, sometimes there is a relative who suffers from this, there should not be bad news because it is very dangerous.
Sometimes when we see a lot of money we go very crazy and it is no wonder, but we must always prioritize our health, this man has been lucky enough to win a lot of money with these slot games and also to be alive to enjoy.
