No Strategy.... No Fear.  0
Hello everyone,

I'm back again after a few months sorting out my life....

Anyway, some of you will probably remember me from before, and some won't
I was going to carry on writing in my blog from before, but you know, I looked at it and I didn't really like that blog. So here I am to start this one.

I'm going to leave the learning side of things for a while and just play poker. No HUD's, No rules, and No goals.

Bankroll management is kind of irrelevent at the moment too... Only playing NL5 started with $40 that I had in my Pokerstars account just gathering dust. And I'm now at $66.01 over the first 1,100 hands played in the last 2 days.

I know it's only NL5 but it took me a day before I had 8 tables open and $5 at every table, I know I had all my bankroll on the tables, but the chance of losing it all across 8 tables is pretty slim. I used to play 24 table SSS so getting back in the swing was easier than I thought it would be.

Anyway, yeah, I am just going to play my way and see how it goes for a while.

I'll keep you updated and hope to get to chatting to you all again soon, I'll start posting some hands and charts and crap later, but for now this is it.

Laters,

The Mardy One.

Hello and welcome back. I am kinda new here. I noticed you were playing SSS with 24 tables. Since you are playing that many tables I can only assume you have a good idea how to play SSS confidently. Do you currently play SSS or buy in for the max? I'm only asking because I would be curious to see if you had any variances while playing SSS. I tried several strategies at these limits and always found myself leaning more toward sss play because of the type of players. If you know what I mean, many players going all in with Ax, Kx, J3o, 94o, etc. Alot of the time people shove in with any A or K regardless of the other card.

So your saying it's not ok for me to buy in and play SSS starting out? Then after winning a hand or two, switch up the play and go from there. It's a little personal challenge I do from time to time. Yes, it sucks when you have an opponent beat and can't win as much because you are short stacked. But that's part of building something from nothing. Sometimes I like going to a table short stacked and walking away with at least 3X to 4X the amount I bought in with. As far as going south, yes most sss players do, that is part of the strategy. I just like to change up playing styles from time to time. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hardcore SSS player, why leave a table if you are catching cards and winning.
