Average rakeback seems to be around 30%, the more the better. Read the reviews here and also look on the web to see what's out there. But one thing you have to look at is if you like the poker rooms software and also the player traffic. I play at Cake and like the rakeback, you get 33% and it is paid to your account on a weekly basis. The software is par (I personally like it) but always feel the need for more traffic. Since I see alot of the same reg's grinding at the tables alot we kind of know each others play. So when I (or we) see a new name at a table it seems like we all know when to avoid each others pf raises and it's kind of like we gang up on the newbies and feed off them. Those are two key factors I took into account when signing up for RB. Any room you choose is good, as long as you are earning RB you are heading in the right direction. You would actually be shocked when you start to look at how much rake you generate in a given session, then realize you will never join a poker room ever again without earning RB. Hope this helps

I forgot to mention BRM offers a RB offer at Cake along with some other good rooms

Rakeback is one of those things that is very dependant on your style of play and the amount of time you play.

If you only play a little bit each day you need a site that is non contributory.. ie you get paid as long as you get dealt a starting hand. Even if you fold you still get a share of hte rake. THe amounts paid are usually lower, but you still get paid.

If however you are a grinder and you play lots of tables and can build up nice pots earning yourself lots of winings, then you want to be in contributed rakeback where you only get paid as long as you put something into the pot.

Most people assume that non contributory is always the better option, but that actually isnt the case for people who are playing long sessions. Simply because you have to share the money so whilst you get paid every hand, its 1/6 of the rake which for most pots its very little.

On contributory pots, if you are in games and playing big pots, you want all that rake for yourself, not being split, so you would obviously be better getting a contributory rakeback deal.
