What do you think I / he had?  0
So what I want to do here is see if anyone here can guess what cards I had and what cards my opponent had.
It might look easy but it might not be…..

On Fulltilt Poker full ring game 25c/50c

Button raise from player X
Me in SB re-raise
Player X calls

FLOP:- JKK

Player X: check
Me: bet the pot
Player X: calls

TURN:- 8

Player X: check
Me: Bet the pot
Player X: calls

RIVER:- 3

Player X: check
Me: All in
Player X: calls.

So can you work out what we have? I'll post the answer in a few hours.

i guess that you had AK and your opponent was playing pocket 3s or some sort of jack; AJ maybe. Smile

You should come up with a propper hand history. He can't check to you, if you are the small blind. A bit of history between the players wouldn't hurt too.

2 times a AK? It makes no really sense the check on the river by your oponent but hey just a guess Tongue

Maybe because the suits don't matter in the hand.

Oh. Setup.
I guess AK or AA vs K8 or K3 is more likely.

Must be 45s and 8Qs................ Evil

indeed not much info about player x. he could have anything, but he clearly hasnt aces/kings else he would have reraise you again or shove. i put him on AK and you JJ.
if someone holds the kings then you, and he probably jays as umarplus says.
but since we dont know player x...he could also be a maniac with pocket XX who still keep calling even tho thers 2 overcards on flop.

Well a few good ones there but no correct answers I'm afraid.
I had QQ and Player X had AJ…………….
What I hear you say ….. I know I know I know How and why it went like that I'm not sure….
I can only presume he thought I would not bet trips so betting to him was a bluff?
I presumed he would raise me if he had the K (trips)
Maybe he thought I had like QJ or 10J and he could out kick me?
I was suspicious he might have been holding AA when the cards come over I was shocked to say the least.

I'm ready for you all to tell me how wrong I was now…..hahaha
Big Smile
