what's with the isildur???
------------ whenever, im holding AA, KK, QQ, AKs, AKo, , and on the pre-flop sum1 raises all in i usually calls.. but most of the time i get bet by lesser hole card. at times i wud think that there is sumthing in an online poker???
------------ yeah, players should be allowed to if they wanted to; with this we will be able to show-off which will be essential in the long run

It's up to people if they decide to use it or not. Besides, as far as I've been told, not all sites are against it.
Tricky subject.
Writing as a player I'd say that you would have to be crazy not to take advantage of a tool that increases your chances of winning. Ethically it's a grey area because in theory you're simply taking advantage of available info that you could have had if you'd played at that table and made your own notes.
As someone involved in the Operational side of poker, sites can't be seen to support anything that could be construed as cheating, unethical or immoral but at the same time, all sites want to have winning players. Winning players tend to play longer, play higher stakes (after a while) and consequently rake more.
I'll leave it to you to decide what the likely scenarios are...

Its excactly the reason I stopped playing high limits, if you don't use hud and this kinda stuff, you will loose money in the long run against players that do. Since I started playing online again ( Nl2 - Nl10), I play on various sites under different nicks and win a bit in the long run. That is enough proof to me to be convinced that for an avarage player it is EV- to play higher then NL10 on the same site a lot.

Your right admin, not all sites are against it, but none of them will say thay are for it. @john (BigBetPoker) I guess you right, since I started playing poker online iv lernt that indeed you do have to roll with the times too keep ahead of the game. However as you both point out some sites do see the up side of it and think it will benafit them, but IMO it wont, the fish will play less as thier roi gets deeper in to the red they will stop playing, the ones left on that site will be all the sharks with stats, and guess what they dont want to play each outher! Therefor the sites that do something should see the benafits.
Good to see Merge is not on the list John, there are a few on there that the site prohibits the use of HH, such as poker stars and full tilt, use HH here and you might find your account supended and yill not be alloud to cash out and possably see a fine.

I hate data mining, i hate players who uses it. I report to FTP lots of players that play 1 hand and then.. 'sit out'.. and HM work. Of course i dont like BRM have that sponsored link.

I think that tony is right, if the sites are not forbidding it then go ahead and do so, but if it is written as cheating in a site then just don't risk it.
