I have a question regarding identity verification. You might be able to help me.
I have signed up with Everest (BRM does not have any promotions running with them), and they require ID verification, of course. I sent them a copy of my ID and other documents. I "hid" my ID card number, as I see no reason for them to require that (it can be misused). If i remember correctly, BRM did not require the exact ID card number or Passport number either.
I would like to reply to them that I see no reason why that would be necessary. Any thoughts on this issue?

That's true. But of course I cannot comment on what other sites may require. Maybe they don't want to approve your ID if it's altered in any way (including hiding certain numbers).
