Really jacking up the advertising here.. wish could tone it down a little bit... Don't get me wrong - I grasp where online revenue streams come from.. But adds between posts IMHO is a bit much.
I've stopped going to my regular news web site due to the ridiculous advertising they've started displaying.. BRMs not at that point.. But these latest thread banners are definitely over-kill.

Have to agree with jess with this one.
my internet home page is a site dedicated to weather forecast..I was addicted to one particular weather website during last years but recently i changed it because of annoying advertising messages (have to say they were made with beautiful grafic effects) popped up fisrt time you access the page and from time to time as well (for example when you access to some particular pages).

Got to agree! Advertising your new game through BRM is a crock. This is for members to learn, laugh and share opinions not BRM advertising corp. Thanks to BRM I've learned a little more about the games and playing them a bit better. Just a beginner with little opinion.

just to explain myself better my: I know that even thanks to all the advertising BRM could offer inthe future even more offers and bonuses, develop new mobgames and make a better site.
only want to say I could prefer another way to make this advertise: a less invasive way.
after all regulars and non regulars poster are only a minority if related to all BRM members: so advertising here couldn't be a good deal; above all if the few people hanging around don't like it

Yes - Exactly as you say magatt - not so invasive. I can appreciate the need for advertisements - BRM is not a charity.. But there's a limit.
The news page I've stopped going to pushed it too far by having banners slide in across the whole page - added ads to every video - and had videos advertisements start all on their own when you opened a page.. Got waaay to invasive.

Agreed. I don't know if we were going to the same website but the advertising got to be too much, the pages took forever to load and the whole things started to become cumbersome, so I no longer go there. As long as BRM doesn't go that far these new ads are kinda okay, kinda...

Very good point. I think the pro´s might not outweigh the con´s on this one.

Yeah - flashing text in the middle of what you're trying to read is a bit much..If a site becomes unreadable, or difficult to read, the reg's who the advertising in here is aimed at are just gonna stop reading so many threads anyway.

Wow I was really shocked only 1 guy mentioned Adblock Plus... i couldn't use the sites without it... I would drop sites with to much ads for sure without it. It saves the day... Also some of my friends use FlashBlock... but I didn't liked it.

Don't have a problem with them myself and i don't think it's the first time BRM has put adds in this space but since quite a few people are against it and there are now two threads on the subject, it would be good to get a response from admin. So I'll bump this to the first page.
