EPT Copenhagen - Day 1a is over: Mark Hirleman leads the field

Mark Hirleman, from Arizona, leads the field with 163,400 chips after that Day 1a of the 2011 EPT Copenhagen Main Event has come to and end. He and another 132 players are now through to Day 2 of the tournament. Three of the biggest names that will play Day 2 as well are Annette Obrestad and Johnny Lodden from Norway, and Peter Eastgate from Denmark. nice to hear that annette have good run Wigg was a little bit unlucky but why play all in with flush draw ? better no fish strategy using and u easy at the day 2 now he was busted and can enjoy only his free days without main event poker Smile

i am not sure if you really enjoy free days when you just busted in a big main event ? Big Smile i guess i would really enjoy if i will not have any free days than, meaning i will reacht the FT Blink

Bad luck for Anton Wigg. AJ flush is very good, but this just shows that playing based on statistics and expectation don't allways give good results. If he could have passed to chip leading, he didnt needed to risk so hard... Perhaps this is the diference beetwen a real pro player and an amateur talking about what good players do. Smile But i bet i would have done the same!
