One of the advantages of multitabling is that if one player at one table is taking exceptionally long, you have more time to pay attention to your other tables and not get tilted. I have occasionally used the running down of the clock, but rarely, if I felt it was to my advantage to not get a lot of hands in and get the blinds up, especially at turbo SNGs if the table is full of superaggrodonks.

slowplaying is his strategy and if he made you go on tilt then he succeeded and that is a plus for him. In poker you expect different playing styles, but you have to adapt to their playing style.
