About a week ago I believe (shoveandtilt) recommended I play some low $$ SnG games to potentially start building a bankroll. I have played some SnG's and now increased my revenue by 100%. Are there any other suggestions from the Mobsters that can help me since I am a beginner? I just think the freerolls are to crazy to play consistantly using a logical technique. I mean I get impatient and seem to play reckless in them, then lose of course! Appreciate any input! Thanks BRM and Mobsters!

If you can avoid freerolls you should. I'm assuming since you're american that you can afford to avoid freerolls.. Being 47yrs old I hope you can at least afford $100+ or so, make a deposit and get a deposit bonus (1st dep or reload) that way you're getting some rake back..
Then.. Stick to what you're good at - if you're making profit off SNGs over a large sample - stick at it. Better to be a master of one format - than a Jack of All (master of none). Mind you, depends what you want out of poker - if you want to make $$ then definitely only play the format you excel at. If it's for fun too - then obviously stretch your roll around a bit to ring/sng/mtt - however- if you're making all your profit from SNG - then adjust your MTT/Ring buyins to reflect this - ie; have a different BRM for each type of game.
In regards to specific advice.. Only thing I can suggest that's been working for me lately is turbo SNGs. I been playing a mixture of $3 & $5 turbo SNGs at PKR and been making a killing ! For example play for 1.5hrs this morning before work - only $3 SNGS - and after 1.5hrs I was up $45 !
The ROI for turbos is certainly lower than regular speed games, however, because they go so fast your hourly shoots right up ! I've found now over last week i've played over 300 turbos and been making a solid profit - variance is high on turbos - so be sure to multi-table as many as you're comfortable with - that will even out the variance a lot quicker.
Also - I play the 6-seaters and the reason I believe I'm doing so well in them is everyone is playing for 1st or 2nd place- I'm playing to reach 1st place only with NO regard to finishing in 2nd place. Meaning I get some fkn STUPID folds from my opponents trying to 'steak' 2nd place - just chipping me up.

SnG, and here espacially the DoNs are a good starting point. Try to master those and build up a roll. Tourneys are allways swingy. Play those if you have a bigger roll.

What Sng's are you playing? single table ,full ring? if yes in those make profit is not hard, there is some regs but often fishes .. I recommend you to play at full tilt if you are playing some where else.

Yes, I'm playing at FT the $1 +.01 with 45 / 90 players. I'm enjoying the company for the biggest part. Once in a while there's a donk, but they seem to take care of themselves before making the top 6 or 18 basedf on what your in. Thanks for reply Mobsters and good input from all.
