I don't know what is with that site FT is just doesn't give me any fcking breaks and it seems I get nailed on the river. I tried playing some Omaha Hi-Lo for a change well this is one of about 3 I lost again to the river

Don't feel lonely! It just seems like things happen in streaks. I do okay for a week and terrible for two weeks. Sometimes (mostly saturdays) every other week I can't miss, then I won't hit for a while. I'm not that great a player, but get pizzed at some of the hands I feel I should win, at least until some idiot rides with nothing to the river. Just lucky it's not how I make my living! Good Luck in the future!

If you're feeling the heat of negative variance then Omaha is DEFINITELY not a good idea to get you in a better mood.. The variance & swings in Omaha are far greater than NLHE..

Omaha Hi/Lo is not for beginners in my opinion. There are so many draws, possibilities to hit a good card that a beginner can`t really see all of them. Beginners should start with NLHE

Yes that was an unfortunate card, but he did have you the entire hand. I don't play high-low often, but when i do I play for "the scoop". A "scoop" is when you have both the best high hand, and best low hand, and scoop the entire pot. I wouldn't prolly have continued on in the hand if I didn't have at a high and low hand. There is a lot going on in Omaha High-Low, I would reccomend perhaps a different game as well.
Posted by shokaku: You were behind the whole hand. The river is a nice action card, but you shouldn't play hi/lo with that starting hand in the first place.
hit the nail on the head with your reply shokaku, also i play alot of omaha h/l and thats not a hand to play out side the blinds,

First I am a better HU player vs Omaha. I'm not a beginner but far from a pro and no Phil Galfond of the PLO world. I prefer just straight Omaha so that would be my better game versu Hi-Lo if not playing HU. Now yes not the best starting hand but I have won with worst but I played that hand because of the having the clubs and wanted a look at the flop being it was just .1/.2. Now I have won a $200 freeroll in just Omaha no hi-lo so I can play the game. Thanks for your replies and suggestions I appreciate them all.

They are right Crazy, u shouden't 've been in that hand to begin with. Off course u won with worse, in omaha there are so much combinations possible. That's also why u can loose a lot of money entering hands, cause u have a draw most of the times I agree with u, i also like straight omaha better, don't like winning half of the pot
