AQs - SB push to min raise  0
The Nash ICM calulator gives my range here as KK+ to a push from UTG but he didn't push just min raised. Ignoring the min raise my range here is over 60% - so what's the best way to play this hand?

Bodog - $3.00+$0.30 Turbo |<> NL - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

CO: 2,665.00
BTN: 3,570.00
Hero (SB): 1,410.00
BB: 2,005.00
UTG: 5,350.00

Hero posts SB 100.00, BB posts BB 200.00

Pre Flop: (300.00) Hero has Q Spade A Spade

UTG raises to 400.00, fold, fold, Hero raises to 1,410.00 and is all-in, fold, UTG calls 1,010.00

Flop: (3020.00, 2 players) 7 Diamond 4 Club 2 Club

Turn: (3020.00, 2 players) J Spade

River: (3020.00, 2 players) 9 Club

You have AQs and are the small stack down to 7BB. What is the question here? UTG is playing his big stack, so of cause we have to either push or make a stop and go here.

My question is should I be pushing here regardless of previous action?

Not regardless of other action. If co or button should push, i would fold AQ here, cause those guys should have a strong range. But the minraise from the bigstack i don't take to serious.

It depends on his stats...if he's running with 5/5 stats or whatever there is a possibility to fold this, but usually this is a push anyway.
If CO or BTN shoves,it's a fold because you're behind of most of their range, and you have to consider BTN may call as well..
If CO or BTN just calls UTGs raise, pushing becomes even more profitable because of the dead money in the pot, plus you're ahead of most of their range.

if your a leaner player they will call with the ace queen cause is suited Big Smile
as they say when they call your call in with 76 hearts beating your aces pre flop Aww crap! Aww crap!

I think this spot would have been good for stop n go since he is very likely to call a shove with a middle pair. So I'd have called preflop intending to push any flop. Trouble is the flop is not very good for it since there is no hand to represent but I would shove anyway. I think AQ is too good to fold with 7bb against the big stack although anything less would be a conservative fold.

i would prob just shove your to short and if he calls with a under pair well so be it your flipping your 7bb, a stop and go is prob not going to work against an med pair or even a pair of 3s on that flop, i would just shipp iittt Big Smile

yeah, guess 5 handed i could really not fold AQ here. For that I would really need a raise and a reraise so I would really say I am behind. So an easy shove.
