dont mean to be rude but fook it here goes,.......... what has the so called easter bunny got to do with resurrection of jesus, this is the day all christians celebrates the resurrection of the Christian Messiah (jesus christ) they will go to the Sunday service at a church to celebrate this occasion with prays and singing, non christians or people who havnt got a clue about easter , buy easter eggs to give to chrildren, most chrildren and adults dont know they are surppose to be celebrating the day that jesus got resurrected on, but has been deceive by fooked up governments in conning them to buy chocolate easter eggs, just a another commercial gimic way of getting money from you, people need to be educated the real reason for easter, and not think its about a fooking 10ft pink easter bunny giving out chocolate eggs , also no offence to the germans but they started off all this bull shhit easter bunny lark..... and another thing please dont get me started on father christmas ,

Feast days and Fasting days are determined annually on the basis of the date of Easter (Holy Pascha). The ecclesiastical cycle begins with the first day of the triodion and ends with the Sunday of all Saints. Note that Easter never has the same date such as Christmas. Last year Easter was on April 4th, this year April 24th, next year April 8th and in 2013 Easter will be on March 31st. This is due to the cycle of the Greek Ortodox which is moveable.
The reason the Easter Bunny is due to the feasting/fasting and Jesus approves of this so all children can be happy around the world or at least we who celebrate Easter want our children to acknowledge the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. So eat a chocalate bunny and go to church. Happy Easter to All and your Children to.!

Dozn, the degree to which you buy into the commercialization of some of our most sacred holidays is entirely up to each individual. With the age my kids are at I don’t expect them to grasp everything about this holiday, but if they understand that this is a very important day, a day for celebration and families to come together, then I am fine with this for now.
