I think some investors should investigate what policies or requirements if any, need to be established to implement a legal on-line poker site in the U.S. If the U.S. government would allow a on-line site to be established here in the U.S. and players would have to pay taxes on their winnings would or could this be establisehed legitimately. I'm telling you, if this could happen, the first to do so will be wealthy beyond their dreams. So anyone out there who has the time, the backing and the initial money to invest had ought to think about this.
Maybe the U.S. Government should be the backers and establish this themselves. Do something for the people that would be enjoyable to many. Make it open to all countries, but let there be acknowledgement that all winnings are taxible.

Maybe if all mobsters chip in we could invest Seriously, hang in there Green, they can't keep the US 'pokerless' forever. Gl in poker and life

Hi Green - sorry just read this article and answered this bit on the previous article written originally by flipped chips. I agree with Jazzy jeff - it is all about money - once again a government is picking on the little guy and someone who argues the odds will be made to look bad - gambling etc..
Has someone considered that maybe Gus Hansen or some other big money pro took all the head of the FBI's stack on a heads-up $2000/$4000 no-limit game and now he wants revenge?
GL and I am personally looking forward to the US players return and hopefully that wont take long..........
