PLAYED TWO FREEROLLS ON FULL TILT.IN BTOH TOURNEYS I HAD A A OF I WENT ALL IN. IWAS CALED BY A DONK WITH J 2 HE FLOPPED A HOUSE.IN THE NEXT TOUREY HAD AA WENT ALL IN AGAIN ANOTHER CALLED WIH 32 HE FLOPPED A STRAIGHT.SICK AS PIG I AM

Freerolls are like that and you can't take it too much to heart. Lots of people will go in with any two cards and even 2-3o has a chance against AA. Play your best game and you should make the money occasionally, and then you can use that to go for the big time mean greeen

Right on! I have two strategies for freeroll: donk play or good play. Donk play is I shove early with any good hole cards until I either build a decent stack or go out, or play as if I was at the WSOP ME. Typically I will go further with good play, but often I would rather bust out early and do something else than to play for hours and not make the money. With a large stack early you have a very good shot at making the final table.

I get that all the time and not just on freerols but on micro STGs as well. Cant wait to increase my bankroll (hopefully i will ) and get away from those "players".

I'm glad i don't play freerolls anymore. What was posted above is true, of course you can lose with pocket aces or pocket kings, it's just a pair at the end. Now since you had the pocket aces in these two sitations i think you played them right but it's unbelieveble how people can shove it all in with J2 or 32. Of course you'll always see this only on freerolls, on paid tournaments or on sit and gos it's almost impossbile to see such a thing. Even less on cash tables, i really think there you can find the highest level of poker expertise you can find online, of course on higher limits like NL10 or higher. On micors like NL2 or even on NL5 it is possbile to find this kind of behaviour, since there are a lot of fishes that deposit for the first time or get a no deposit bonus, and they really don't care if they lose the money or win...

on full tilt it does happen to cash tables and mtt on micro or low stakes. Doesn't matter how oyu play on those stakes, you will get busted in the end. Only playing premium hands just doesn't cut it anymore on full tilt, nobody lays down A high, wich was good for me months ago, now ft has become unplayable imo. It happened to many times the last couple of days, reloaded for about 100$ and I just keep getting sucked out. No matter what I try everytime I get a high pocket or flop a set with any pocket it just seems some bulgarian or russian retard doesn't want to lay down his ace high even on a all in on the flop that they missed completly and they manage to runner runner straight/flush almost all the time, worst hand was flop full house, check raise it all in and get a-called by A high runner runner 4 of a kind a high wins (my all in raise was 3.5 times his bet). I know I'm not the greatest player and I know that my game needs improvement but this is just getting to unreal. Its come to a point I don't even want to play AA KK anymore I know most of the time I'll get sucked out and get busted by some idiot, I don't mind losing as long as it is against some one who actually could play the game. I want to leave full tilt but its just the best software there is I try making these donks to an advantage for me but I just can't catch a break. Yjese people are truelly ruining the game for alot of people and they should be hung and shot and run over by a deer in a jeep.

i find the number 1 rule about freerolls at the beginning... NEVER GO ALL IN, even if you have AA try and see flops but try and avoid letting a bunch of people in it... basically for the first half of them its just fold and for maybe 1-2 hands hope you double up and no one gets lucky on you

In time i learned that it's a lot more profitable on long term not to go all in after a raise and a resaise in froont of you. The big stack strategy says in this case you need to go all in with a monster hand, thats pocket aces or pocket kings. In time i learned that it's a lost more profitable on long term that after a raise and reraise in front of you it's best to do a 4 bet or 5 bet and see the flop than go all in. Now it also depends on who you are playing. A fish will always go all in after a raise if they have a monster hand, on the other hand a regular will do a 3 bet or 4 bet. If there is a dry flop you def need to shove it all in. Good luck all!

Hi Mandy. I saw you on one of them freerolls, as my missus is Mandy and I was born in 1966. Anyway as Mahdrof says play your best game and you will make the money sometimes, then use that to build your bankroll...............
Why are people complaining about donks? It's just a sign, that they don't understand the game and perhaps are losing players. If it wasn't for donks online poker wouldn't be so profitable. If someone calls you with 23o, when you show strength and actually you have AA - just be happy! When he bears you - smile and go on! It's all about the longrun. I bet you should work on your mindset if you're pissed off after suckout with AA. It happens not just in the freerolls, also on $1 SNGs and micro cash games, but that's how we make money, isn't it? Because of donks you're able to win a lot more. Imagine playing cash games or tournaments where the only opponents are strong TAGs. In fact there are such limits, but on the micro and low and some lower limits of the high limits there are still donks and if you can't stand them you shouldn't play. Freerolls are quite good to work on your mindest, but also you can be easily tilted, but it's a part of the game!
Reply Please explain why does it make any difference if its a free roll surly pocket aces are still 86% free roll or not, Or are the deals manipulated.

So whats your problem? Against a random hand its more like 75%, so in a freeroll against bad players AA will win 1 in 4 and with so many bad players ready to go AI its even harder to win with it as its all pr-flop action and left to the luck of the gods. LMFA KK long term loser, GTF, stop trying to be an ass, if you want people to listern to your blabber, then post some back up, KK long term loser, OK post you 100k HH sample showing KK as a loser. I just think you can not get to grips with the vast amount of hands played on-line and how it is nothing like live play, I play up to 600 hands ph, thats 15 hrs worth of live play, and I belive thats how you are comparing. 1hr Vs 15hr and you think you can make a comparisment....STOP...If you dont like it then dont play, stop being such an ass repeating your un backed claims.
