ARE YOU TIRED OF GETTIN BUSTED BY DONKS? WELL SCOOP OUT MY OWN STRATEGY WHEN DEALING WITH DONKIE PLAYERS, WHY RISK YOUR TOURNEY LIFE ON A 60/40 WHEN YOUR JUST GONNA BE MAD IF YOU LOSE. WELL TRY THE PHOTO STRATEGY MADE JUST FOR 1v1 WITH DONKS!!
OK SO i have also found the best way(IMO) to beat these donks, setmine or flush mine, just fold until you got some suited cards or pocket pairs, try and see a flop cheaply as possible, if you hit on it then take them to value town because they will call you down with even bottom pair. rule number 1 is never bluff a fish, you know why? cuz they call everything. just dont get all in without the nuts unless you got like aces or summin. perferably dont go all in preflop with AK or anything like that either cuz if they hit just 1 card your likely to be saying FML POKER IS RIGGED! STOP RISKING YOUR TOURNEY LIFE ON CHANCE! WAIT FOR THE NUTS! after i have been trying this i noticed that i have been making MUCH deeper runs and place in the money almost every other time
EVEN IF YOU MISS YOUR FLUSH OR SET YOU STILL MIGHT HIT TOP PAIR, im not saying its gonna be the winning hand all of the time but if you play it right then you might make it further, give it a shot IT CANT HURT!!

Thanks for sharing your strategy with us. I mainly try to do it in a similar way, but my problem seems to be the patience. At some point during a tourney I loose patience and therefore take more risks (which in most of the times fails). So I guess thats a leak I have to work on.

Nice thread Jiberish. I try to play the same as you but, as Migo says I lose patience with these idiots, so I then start taking chances I probably shouldn't. Something I need to work on as well.
Good thread and I will try to remeber it when playing.

I dont know wheres the big deal about them donks.. Yeah, they keep going all in with any two cards.. but use that as your advantage.. Ive been only playing freerolls since 2 weeks on FT and I think its pretty easy to get to the cash.. The main word about it is patience.. Just wait until you got a really strong hand like pocket aces or pocket kings.. If you are lucky the donks will raise all in anyway and if not you may raise and they will call you.. After doubling up once or twice I go afk for a while.. In this time the donks eliminate themselves.. After I have ensured that im in the money I start to play aggressive again.. Bad Beats will always occur but if you play like this you should be successfull.. just stay calm and dont lose your head.

Definitely agree, never bluff a fish, I can attest to never being successful it. Your strategy is interesting, just out of curiosity are you applying it mostly in free rolls or early on in money tournaments when there is still a high number of, shall we say . . . risk takers?

lmao no thanks i checked your stats so i dont think this strategy works
check my stats all you want i dont always take freerolls seriously, if you want to find some of my decent wins you most likely wont, but we can always play heads up if your such an expert highroller. seems like everyone else agree with my strategy and most people do apply it to freerolls. im glad you insulted this entire thread, keyboard highroller.
and arithmajik, if you download PT3 you can see who the fishie ones are very simply and they tend to play like what i mentioned about until the bubble theres a lot of wannabe LAGs who play like 60-75$ VPIP and still somehow make it down pretty far, but they tighten up a lot at the bubble, but if you play it right against them up to there and smallball your top pairs and play made hands with extra value bets you can bust them. but after everyones at the money most of them tighten up so you have to also but managing to limp with suited cards while your still deep enough you can really clean house my biggest problem is going on tilt on the final table bubble, ive done it 4 times this week lmfao
im glad some people appricate the findings i have made and not everyone is a selfrightous forum highroller. gl to all of you and may your live cards forever be easily drawn against donks!

To be fair - sharkscope shows you have played over 30 freerolls and zero cashes... Sharkscope does occasionally miss stuff, mine is out by around $400, still though, I can see dozn01s point.

I seriously love that he just made that term up. Originally when he started using it - I let it be - I didn't know what he meant and I didn't want to look like an idiot asking.. Eventually I googled it extensively - and I s**t you not, the ONLY hits you get googling "long number probability" is onlinejokes posts on BRM - PMSL
Eventually he comes out and says he meant "The law of large numbers" but if he meant that - why didn't he just say that? Instead of making up his own term ?? LOL
