The difference between a good player and an average to weak one, is the way we relate to bad beats. While the fish always seeks a different explanation as to why we got gutted the second flush time on pocket aces, accusing everything from dodgy defective software a good player will know that bad beats are simply part of the game, no matter how tight we play or no matter how artificially-induced these sucker plays may seem. This is poker, and bad beats are just as much part of the poker as everything else is. I am writing this as my 3 aa got beat in a row this i make a rather large raise 67 spades calls 2 spadse in flop all in after flop up shows yet another spade flush draw. I had ace spades to but no 4 th spade so if you want to avoid the tilt syndrom make sure you can cover VARIANCE, then laugh when this happens.

You are absolutely right, my friend, everything is how someone sees the bad beat. A good player always know that they are part of poker, and yes, pocket aces or pocket kings are very strong hands preflop but as we all know the strenght of a hand is connected to the common cards that come on the flop, turn and river Plus it seems that always bad beats happens to people that don't respect bankroll management, so for them it's really bad if you lose a buy in with pocket kings or pocket aces, but for people that know what bankroll management is, you can lose 2 or three bankrolls and come back after and recover the loss, for them probably 5 buy ins are their entire bankroll..... Good luck to all mobsters on the tables!

I use to say that bad beats don't exist. If there is 5% chance You loose a hand, it will happen 1 time out of 20, So it will hapen and we will have to deal with it. Still, sometimes its frustrating.

yeah totally agree with you, ignore the badbeats and concentrate on improving your game. worrying about the hand you lost or blaming the software is not gonna get you anywhere.
