The Alderney Gambling Control Commission's website: http://www.gamblingcontrol.org/index.php Make's some good reading if you have the time. pdf reader needed for most of the doc:
Looks like their investigation merits enough info for the Commiission to act. Can't wait to see how this all shakes out. It's too bad they can't make their preliminary findings public just yet. If FT have in fact been burning ppl I hope in the end they nail 'em to the cross and set a strong president for others who try.

Yes I agree as a relative new comer to online poker but I have been around live poker I even dealt as a professional mostly in South Africa but I can say for sure casinos in South Africa DON'T CHEAT they are very happy to take the rake (which is more than enough as it is) But here that the site owners themselfs cheat us is behond my comprehesion and I just hope that the other sites are fair in particular IPOKER where a lot of players play. But it does make me a bit more warey and watchful as to whats going on I have to admit and it keeps me off the roulette and other casino games which is a good thing lol

Hotland, you are absolutely right, that was actually the main reason for which full tilt poker couldn't pay the american players their money back, on the other hand pokerstras respected this agreement
So, for now they are out of the woods, but once the fbi investigation will go deep we can expect the same to happen to pokerstars so nothing is safe right now...
Now i'm unsure if full tilt poker was making money to pay their us players or they continued to cah out the profits maked via rake and the deposits of the non us players that were made recently were kept for paying the us players....
