ok i made a post before and got great feedback from you guys and feel i should add to this....1st when we play don's remember you lose a cut to the site $2.40 buy in gets you $4.00=$160(piss)but still easy money...2nd dont throw your chips in after bad ,you need to be tight,3rd later in you will have 2 push with mid hands...but the people left are not wanting to gamble,just to survive,when its crunch time dont risk it and hope the others get 2 despo.....in the end if you keep you head and be paitient you will win 80% of your stake every time....good luck and dont play DONs if your a poker player....

Ha ha, love the bit about not playing DoN's if you're a Poker Player. You should've dropped this on the bottom of that old thread just to reinforce it a little. No worries though.
I'm a big fan of the DoN's, especially the Super Turbo's on the iPoker Network (the fee is much much smaller, and the game stays pretty much the same, just resolves faster).

DoN or normal SnG: Don't play tourneys with such a high rake! $2 + $0.4 is very difficult to beat, even if one is clearly better than the other players. The rake is just to high.

Shokaku is absolotely right, 20 percent rake is much to high. Thats why I don´t play SnG on PArty Poker, because of the rake at low limits. I guess its very very hard to beat in the long run.

I don´t like to play DoN´s because you can´t win. I´m sure they can be profitable multitabling.
But where´s the fun if 5 of you come in first? In fact nobody´s first.
Just my take, so I MUCH prefer regular Sng´s....1...2....3... and the rest is out! Besides that you have the bubble play, the final 3 play, and the heads-up. A Poker feast !

I would figure ur right in higher stakes ( which i dont know since i never payed them) but in micro or low stakes i think dons r better since the level of "poker" is about the same. the difference is less winning probability in sng's

DoN´s are a good way to build a Bankroll with a minimum of risk. But in the most Pokerrooms the Rake is to high (20%), so you must win 70% of the Games in the longrun.
