Lol, really weird bet on the turn from this guy. Maybe he was just trying to push both of you out of the hand which was indeed a very bad idea. But really don´t know. But hey it is NL2 - nearly everything is possible on this limit

poor attempt at bluffing by big blind at turn, he's trying to represent ace / straight and most probably doesnt have even mid pair. pretty common at these stakes, people call a raise from early position and then pot bot at flop/ turn with air

Yep. Looks a lot like he tries to represent the ace here. Of cause he could not have one, as all are in play. It is allways bad if you try to represent a hand, that the opponent has.

Representing the same hand your opponent has is generally a beginner mistake in bluffing.. More skilled bluffing is generally defined as the art of putting your opponent on a hand (or range) and representing the draws that may hit on the turn/river that you assume a thinking opponent is also aware of.
Quite often in fact on the lower levels people aren't really representing any specific hand - they're basically just betting and hoping somebody folds and aren't really thinking any deeper than that.

Man, I realized that this deck of cards has too many aces. If you notice by the second and the fifth hand you will see the bug. I suggest report to the site and tell them that the programm is corrupted.

Many players in low limits do that kind of game like jess said. They observe a couple of hands if they are newcomers on the table and they start the crap play with bet and raise no matter what till river

We should not take serious about this kind of hands because basically he is a newbie withoput any concept of poker. I have seen that kind of play even in nl100, with a big big russian fish asking in the end wehats the matter of the game. I checked him on PTR and in 9k hands he had lost more than 4k$ in levels between nl10 and nl100. For sure he doesnt knew what he was doing there, but happilly he shipped me in a all in around 42$, unfortunately i never saw him again on the tables.
I would say pretty much like jessthehuman. People at these stakes bet too big with no reasons sometimes, it's just weird poker. But it's also pretty easy to call them when you got top pair with a good kicker or 2 pairs.

I just don't get how he can spazz bluff the turn like that and then fold for the last 1/4 of his stack with such massive pot odds. Even if you're not sure your hand is best, pot odds and simply being commited to the pot at that point dictate you have to call basically ATC in that spot.

If he had air, he doesn't had any odds at all to win the hand agains a pair of aces or better.

Logically that makes sense, but the way the hand played out, it doesn't make any sense to bluff that spot anyways given how wet the board is. I guess I shouldn't complain, It's bad play like that that makes poker profitable It's just totally one of those "wtf was he thinking" kinda moments you tend to see from time to time lol.
