Ye good point he is making... They should make it back playable in the whole USA. It's a win win situation. However the casino's do not gain profit out of this.
Yeah I agree, governement should just take control! This way we pay rakes just like taxes, instead of going in some rich dude's pockets, it goes in the governements pockets. Really a win-win situation.
Sometimes governements are REALLY slow to react, they should just take advantage of what's in front of them for the greater good...

I am not sure if this type of event would attract as many people as Helmuth says, and i really don't consider it a good iniciative. Looks like they want to know the identity of who plays online poker in USA, and this sure would be a good way to put an way on possible game addicteds. Its the same as giving a bone to those who lost all the skeleton.

Personally, I think they should open the US market to whoever sets up their head office on American soil, charge a reasonable percentage of every rake, and audit the deals so that nobody is being screwed and the laws of Long Number Probability are being respected Seriously, if they charge too much they will kill it, not enough and it is not worth it. Things are going bad enough financially for the Americans, what better way to tap into some worldwide money?
