Rake question  0
I have a question about rake.
Im wondering if im in a Head's Up cash game with $100 and move all in before flop and the other guy folds. Does the room then take its rake anyway?

I don't think theres any rake unless it gos to the flop but I think it depends on the pokerroom too.

Í just got the answer, i thought id ask the support

I can confirm with a no flop, no drop policy. So no you won't pay rake in that scenario..
Thats what they said. So my question is answered Smile

In this case, no rake is taken. Rake is only taken after the flop is seen. I believe this is a standard in all poker rooms. The only difference I´ve seen regarding rake is that some rooms, maximum rake is $3, and some others, maximum rake is $2.

Speaking of rake have you seen how much fulltilt makes from those high stake tables? Im not sure if its even $5 from every pot but then again some of the pots are 30 to 40k at a time... must be rolling in money there lol.

Bakera, even in pots like 30 to 40K, the rake is the same as a pot of $50 dollars. All poker sites have a maximum rake policy, where it doesn´t matter the size of the pot, if it has reached it´s maximum, that is where it stops.

Hmmm didnt know that fodz , i always thought the bigger the pot the more the rake taken is. Is there anything about poker you dont know? and do you charge any fees to teach people? lol Worship Worship

Bakera, there is something in poker which I am not very familiar with, that maybe you can teach me! To lose, I have very few recolections and knowledge of this concept. Blink LOL, couldn´t let the opportunity for that joke pass.

But honestly, of course, there are many things regarding poker and life that I have no idea. I love learning and discovering new things. Regarding fees, my biggest satisfaction is knowing that somehow I helped or brought a smile to someone´s face.
