When the final table of the WSOP Europe Cannes Main Event was about to start yesterday Elio Fox, from New York, was in a big lead with about 3,9 million chips, and in second place was no one else than Jake Cody, from UK, with 2,6 million. The other 6 players, most of them with over $2m in tournament winnings, also had plenty of chips to gamble with, so it was very hard to foresee a winner.

He didi t, he mananged to keep the first place for him til the end and won the €1,400K! If he did such a great work along all the tourney, i believe many say he deserved it, it wasnt just efficiency, it was also effectiveness! Nine hours in a final table is a proof of the difficulty of it. Wow, look at the numbers of €100's in the table...

Jake Cody will surely be pissed after finishing in 8th place, but was always gonna be a tough table. on the other hand, Fox did very well maintaining his lead and winning it.
