There are only specific mob mails which you receive that will let you earn points, when you read them, you should be able to see at bottom, claim points or something. mind you, they are very rare.

We've only sent out one or two Mob Mails with points I think. Basically to test it out, now that we have the functionality to do it. If you have a Mob Mail with unclaimed points, a star will be displayed left of it.
