Guido Pella had a rough stop on his debut at the US Open against Croatian Marin Cilic, the defending champion, and though he fought, lost in straight sets 6-3, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3).
Schwartzman Diego qualified for the second round of the US Open by beating the Swede Elias Ymer 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
Karlovic put an end to the illusion of Delbonis: Croatian giant finished with 21 aces and eliminated in three sets after 2h19 of play.
Federer started yet and the first set against Mayer was 6-1 in just 22 minutes. The Yacaré made several mistakes and Roger ran over, but still much in shock by the initial round.

Mayer could not do much against Federer was 6-1 win, 6-2, 6-2 to Roger in just 1h17 of play. The Yacaré left the tournament after making many mistakes against a team of such category. Leo Mayer dreamed of beating Roger Federer in his debut at the US Open. At least make him suffer as in shock at the Masters 1000 of Shanghai in 2014, where he squandered five match points and fell in the third-set tiebreaker. But he could not do any of those things ...

Novak Djokovic - Andreas Haider-Maurer Tip: Djokovic to win 3:0 Haider was not interested in the preparatory tournaments on concrete and was losing 2: 1 in sets of Pospisila, but Canadians are caught cramps after a marathon third set.
